Toronto lost the second straight game at home as Columbus defeated them 3-2.
Nikolai Kulemin opened the scoring for the Leafs at 15:19 into the first period, Rookie skater, Darryl Boyce (who was called up from the minors to fill in for Mikhail Grabovski, who counldn't play due to personal matters) recorded his first NHL point with an assist on Kulemin's goal,
Lees than a minute after Kulemin's goal, Kristen Huselius tied it up for Columbus,
With less than 20 seconds left in the period, Tyler Bozak scored to give Toronto a 2-1 lead.
The only goal scored in the second period was Huselius's tying goal.
At 3:36 into the third period, Blue Jacket captain, Rick Nash scored to give Columbus the lead for good.
One notable: Huselius had a three point night, including an assist on Nash's goal.
Toronto is now 13-19-4 and Columbus is 17-15-3.
