The Ottawa Senator's woes continue as Toronto defeated them tonight 5-1 at Scotiabank Place.
It was all Leafs in the first period. Clarke MacArthur opened the scoring at 1:57. Tyler Bozak scored at 12:24 and then at 15:21
After the third goal, Ottawa's starting goaltender, Brian Elliott was pulled and Mike Brodeur was put in.
Leaf's tough guy, Colton Orr, got into a couple of scraps in the period. First with Chris Neil and then with Matt Carkner.
Shortly after killing off a five on three power play, Rookie skater, Darryl Boyce scored his first NHL goal to increase the Leaf's lead to 4-0.
At 5:46, Luke Schenn made it 5-0.
Ottawa got their first goal from Sergei Gonchar on a two-man advantage.
With 734 left to go in the third, Orr and Neil went at it again.
There was no scoring in the third period
Rookie goaltender, James Reimer recorded his first NHL win.
