Jeremy Lin's break-out campaign with New York Knicks is cut short by left knee injury that needs surgery - is this the end of Linsanity and the Nicks for 2012?

It is truly amazing that every single time it seems this century when the Knicks catch any sort of break or streak of good fortune they very soon after take a massive hit right in the knickers. Of course, the good fortune of Lin is that you don't have to be healthy enough to play to provide a postive element to the team's chemistry which is where I feel his true talent lies. Unlike Dolan's talent which lies in smashing and incinerating even the smallest of miracles. Wouldnt be surprised if someone blames him even for this just out of habit.

Oh dear! Another setback for the Knicks, but they should still make the playoffs. Jeremy Lin will return next season, better than ever.

I hope so, he has been such a dynamic influence on not only the Knicks but the entire NBA.
