Top 5 Table Top Ping Pong Tables
I love playing ping pong, or table tennis. I started at an early age with a table top ping pong table, only it wasn’t one of those great table top ping pong tables available today.
No, much to my mother’s grief, it was our dining room table with a net stretched across, which my friends and I used to spend hours with, and, when I had no worth opponent I simply moved it so that one end was touching the wall and I could practice.
But, we have come a long way since those days and table top ping pong conversion table tops are available helping us save on space and money!
On this hub you will find my top 5 table top ping pong tables.
Viper Portable Table Top Ping Pong Table
This table top ping pong table by Viper makes it into my top 5 because not everyone has a pool table to convert into a ping pong table. I started playing ping pong on the dining room table at home!
The neat thing about this one is that it is portable and can be played on any flat surface. It isn’t full size, so is great for kids too, the play area is 84" x 42" x 1/4", and will fit well on most dining tables if you are short of room.
At ¾” thick this Martin Kilpatrick is a nice sturdy table top ping pong table . The net poles also secure the two halves of the table together so there is no chance of slipping or separation during play. It comes in either green or blue, with a two player set and is easy to set up.
This Stiga table top ping pong table comes complete with Net and Posts. It enables you to convert your existing 7ft or 8ft pool table into a table tennis table, so is ideal if you don’t have room for both.
At the time of writing the DMI table top ping pong table is cheaper than the Stiga above. It is 5/8” thick as opposed to ½” thick but this does make it a couple of pounds heavier, and it doesn’t come with a net which the Stiga does.
Easy to use four piece hinged design
Padded backing to prevent scratching to table top
Includes net and post set
