10 Natural Skin Care For Acne
Acne can be very annoying. I had a few ones sometime and they will disappear in few days. But for some women, acne especially on the face could be a very serious problem. Acne could cause infection of the skin surface and it may make some women stress and feel lack of confidence. Many women have tried many kind of acne's medications, treatments, and acne remedies. But sometime they won't work or expensive, so why don't you try the natural way to deal with acne ? To have an acne-free face is almost impossible. Acne is a natural thing in our hormonal system. Teens are normal to have some acne when they reach certain age. But we can try some natural skin cares to reduce acne and get a clearer and healthier face.
1. Apply Tomatoes Masker
Tomato is great for acne treatment and skin care. Tomato contains lycopene that's good for skin's health. Beside lycopene, it contains biological protein, phosphorus, iron, sulfur, vitamin A, B1, and C.
Tomato mask is very nutritious. It will make acne dry and remove the black stain of acne scars.
How to make a mask of tomato:
- Cut some tomatoes and blend them.
- Add natural lemon juice, mix well
How to use:
- Apply to the face and neck before go to bed
- Let it applied until next morning.
- Rinse with warm water
We can use tomato mask as daily skin care. After we apply the masker do some gentle massage in the face and neck about 15 minutes and rinse it with warm water.
2. Drink Plenty of Water
Drink plenty of water is great to avoid dehydration. It will make our skin delicate and clear. Water will remove poisons inside the body and healthy body could reflect from the healthy skin. Drink at least 2.5 litre water daily.
3. Wash your face with PH balance soap
Specially after outdoor activities. Always wash your face and apply facial soap with suitable PH.
4. Apply Corn Masker.
This is a traditional recipe from some people in Indonesia. Like tomato masker, use grated young corns and apply it as face masker. Or, mix some table salt with lemon juice or star fruit juice and apply it to the face as an astringent.
We can use it as daily skin care too. It's okay because the mask is from natural ingredients.
5. Guava Leaf Masker
Indonesian people have many kind of natural acne treatment. Like this guava leaf masker. Guava is a tropical fruit so it may a little hard to find in western countries. But, there are some people who tried this method and it worked.
How to make Guava leaf masker :
- Take some guava leaves. Smash them
- Add some rose water.
- Apply the masker in your face about 15 minutes and rinse it with warm water.
6. Apply Warm Honey in your face especially at the acne location. Like ancient Egyptian tale, Cleopatra used honey to have a delicate skin. She used it as daily skin care. We could try it too. Heat some honey and apply it in the acne in warm condition. Let it there about 10 minutes and rinse it with warm water.
Try this, mix some cinnamon powder with water and apply it to the skin. Wash it with warm water and do it about one week. Some people in my country did that to remove the black stain and acne scars.
8. Eat a lot of Basil and Parsley
Basil and parsley could help reduce acne and make your skin healthy. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits also great for skin care. I eat a lot of raw basil and always spread parsley in my meal.
Massage could release stress. Anxiety and stress could stimulate acne so anything you can do that can naturally eliminate, reduce, or make your anxiety tolerable and lower, is going to ultimately benefit your skin. Have you ever heard people refer to the “happy glow”? Well, when your mind is at peace or happy, your skin tends to follow suit. Of course there are other elements like diet, exercise and hormones that enter into it, but funny how these all tend to follow one another when you’re in your best states of mind. You tend to eat right, exercise more and look better when you’re happier, and vice versa
Happy and relax mind could reduce acne. My mom once said, if you had acne, just don't think about it. More you think about it, it spread faster. I don't know if it true or not, but think is related to mind so if I feel mad about the acne, it may stimulate another acne's growth.
Avoid touching and popping your pimples, it actually can push germs under your skin, which in turn can create additional redness, pain, as well as infection. Remember: popping pimples could sometimes lead to permanent scarring!
10. Cucumber and White egg.
Mixer some white egg until stiff and add some cucumber into it. Stir well and blend it. Apply it to your face and leave it about 15 minutes. Then wash your face with warm water. Do it regularly twice a week until the acne disappear.
Those tips just some suggestions to have daily and natural skin care for acne treatments. But if the acne has been terribly growing, you should ask the dermatologist for treatment and medications. We have to take it seriously, because sometime acne could lead to another big disease. I mean acne could be a sign or symptoms of another serious disease like cancer.
