A Woman's First Tattoo
Check out some work by the lovely and talented Emily Rose, artist at Little John's Tattoo in Greensboro, NC.
My wife got her first tattoo recently, and I was able to capture the tattoo's creation from start to finish. Check out the pictures and time lapse video below to see Emily Rose at work on a new tattoo.

Flash Art or Custom Design?
Emily Rose's tattoo work showed us that it is OK to pick out flash art for your first tattoo, or any tattoo.
Even though it was a fairly simple design, Emily added fine details and shading to the tattoo, making it unique work of art.
Flash Art to Fresh Art
Here you can see the stencil I created for my tattoo. After talking with Emily Rose about the kind of shading and embellishments I wanted, and the price range I wanted to stay in, she reworked the design in her own style.
As you can see the final tattoo looks very different when the artist adds their own skills to brining the design to life.
