Argan Oil: Miracle in a Bottle

Argan Seeds from Argan Tree

Source

Did you know that Argan oil is not just a wonder for the skin but also for your hair? This type of oil which is oftentimes called as LIQUID GOLD, is carefully extracted from the seeds of the Moroccan Argan tree. It is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. And we all know what Vitamin E can do for your skin and hair - it serves as an antioxidant.

But there are many other uses for Argan oil. It is natural beauty product which heals and protects the skin and hair. Others do not know this yet but it is one of the best gifts from nature - it can serve as an anti-aging moisturized. It can heal pimples and acne which ultimately prevents it from recurring. It is a great hydrating moisturizer for the face as well.

So, what else do I need to know about Argan oil?

Facial Moisturizer

Clean your face with a mild cleanser first. Use a toner which will complement your skin type. There is a different toner for oily and a different one for dry skin too. Read the label of the toner carefully. Finish it off with 4-5 drops of the OIL. You will feel an instant glow. This I say with experience.

(On a side note: If you want radiant and young-looking skin, one of the ways that can help you achieve that is by doing the CTM regimen - CLEANSE, TONE, MOISTURIZE. I have that detailed in my other hub.)

Healthy and Shiny Wavy Hair, thanks to Argan Oil

Hair Treatment

My first-born Bai Drew loves to put Argan oil at the ends of her hair. It gives a shiny tint and the hair "looks" healthy too.

My second born loves to apply it too. She is the one on the photo. Her name is Bianca. Only a few drops will make all the difference.

Me and my girls all have long, dark brown hair. At times, the ends tend to split and it is normal for hair to get damaged like that. We have Argan Oil to the rescue so, no worries for us.

Pimple and Acne Treatment

Oh yes. Argan oil is proven to get rid of acne and pimples. Since I used this on my face, I have not had an acne break out.

I have pimples since I was 10. My first experience of acne was in college. I hated it. It had pus and it was very big and red. When I got older, my work was very stressful. I had to change my sleeping patterns due to my work - I was on night duty. Since then, I had regular break outs. It was devastating.

Then, about 2 years ago, I discovered Argan oil thru a friend who was selling organic beauty products. She recommended the oil to me and told me it can heal my acne. I was pregnant then and my skin was terrible. I was desperate so I still used it even if I was pregnant since the oil was all natural and it came from a tree. No chemicals whatsoever.

After two weeks, I was glowing. Literally. My skin was dewy and even if I didn't have on make up, it was lovely.

The Perfect Anti-Aging Oil

When you reach the age of 20, your skin will naturally reduce collagen production which means fine lines, laugh lines, wrinkles, sagging cheeks and all those other aging terms. Argan oil will work its "magic" to restore elasticity of the skin and therefore it can aid in making you look younger than your real age. WHO DOES NOT WANT THAT???

Anti-Oxidant and Skin Protector

Argan oil is a healer and protector rolled into one. It will heal your pimples and acne, any type skin irritation and if it is damaged by blemishes due to acne, the OIL will assist in clearing it up. It will also protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

Heal Wounds Quickly

My third child likes to scratch her legs and without her intending to do it, the scab from old wounds are scratched off. I mix Argan oil with some water and apply the mixture on her legs. So far, it has been helpful. A long way to go, but, getting there. My point here is that her wounds do not go through the infection stage. I just apply the oil-water mix and it dries up again.

Tanning Argan Oil

I also noticed that if you put on Argan oil at night, it is mandatory to use sunblock the next morning especially if you are planning to get some sun. I am naturally fair skinned but when the sun hits me, the oil makes my face tan which I am not very fond of.

I want my fair skin as is. But for those who like tan tones, well, be my guest! Argan oil will help in that area.

To illustrate, see the picture beside this segment. Look at my skin! Tan! Me no likey. I am the one wearing the red hijab scarf.

No pimples - skin is clear.

No make up but still fresh faced! (Do not mind the dark eye circles.)
No make up but still fresh faced! (Do not mind the dark eye circles.)

Look at my face here.

This is my normal skin tone.

And I love it.

I also love that Argan oil has cleared up my pimples, as I keep on saying. If I feel that there will be some growths, I immediately apply some on the spot.

My daughters and I usually consume a 15 ml. bottle in 28 days. We use it every single night. It is not required to put too much since Argan oil since it will make no difference if you apply just a small amount. The work it will do regardless of the fact that the amount applied is small or a lot is still the same.

All in One Beauty Oil - Argan Oil

It is a small bottle but the benefits are boundless. Try it for yourself and you will see how it will improve your skin day after day after day. Young and old, this miracle OIL is safe to use. My daughters and I can attest to the fact that Argan oil is an all-in-one beauty oil.
