Baggallini: A "bagg" To Brag About

Pocketbooks, Purses, Handbags, Totes…Baggalini has it!

Whatever you call them, they have to meet the need and they have to be the right style or they simply will not get used.

baggalini's got the Bag for You!

Every woman has owned at least one handbag that she wished she'd never seen, one she wished she'd never touched.

There are the ones that hide everything from you, or never close right, or have cheap junk for closures, or look cute but never sit right, or...you know what I mean.

baggallini (yes, I know the b is not capitalized) meets all the qualifications for style and usefulness, and they do a good job of it. Their baggs are both unique and useful!

It's a Girl Thing and Baggalini's Got It!

Making handbags is a hobby of mine. I had to give it up for a while because life interfered. One day soon I hope to be able to get back to the ones I have started and start the ones I have planned. When I use mine, people always ask me to make them one. So much I could do...so little time!

By whatever name you call them I love handbags. Purses are right up there with shoes in my book. They should be fun and attractive, of course, but I’m not very concerned with what others call stylish. I know what I like and that’s all that counts. I don’t want a granny bag, but if a granny wants one, there will be no criticism from me. All women should use what they like.

As I said though, “life” interfered with my life. The needs of others had to be a priority and I needed to streamline everything, including the use of my bags. Health issues, time issues, sanity issues (resulting from the other issues), all worked together to force me to get one handbag that I could use all the time.

It needed to be an organizer, yuk (I thought), and it needed to be small, for I was on the go all the time. I needed a bag that would be easy to use and would be easy to keep up with. I needed something sturdy but I did not want anything ugly. I wanted quality so I searched around and discovered that I needed, um, make that wanted...

...a baggallini!

My husband said, “A what?”

My friend said, “You’re kidding.”

My sister said, “Okaaaay?”

My daughter giggled.

Oh Well...They Would Have to Wait and See My Baggallini!

I found a store in town that carried a few of the baggallini baggs so I was able to get a closeup look at their general construction and fabrics. I started to buy one there but they did not have exactly what I was looking for.

There are so many to choose from that the decision could be difficult, but my particular needs at the time could only be met by a few of the various designs offered. You can see my choice, the 9x9” Zipper Bag, and more at their website.

All the designs have multiple pockets and I love the bag’s zippers and shaped pulls. This strap is long enough for wearing it diagonally over my body, and I’m not short, but it easily changes to a simple shoulder bag.

I like the shoulder strap's design because it is not awkward but has substance even though it is small. Its hooks are easy to manage, sturdy, and classy looking.

A Baggalini Feature

of the baggallini website is that they allow photos of the baggs to speak for themselves right off the bat. There’s no hunting around just to get started. In the bottom right corner you can read a 3 sentence statement that begins with the following:

“Welcome to baggallini Inc., creators of fashionable and functional tote bags, handbags and travel accessories that are incredibly organized and look as good as they perform.”

There are the obligatory options to click on for testimonials, fabrics, FAQs, contact, etc., but once you see the bags you will want to go straight to the upper left corner of the site and begin perusing the design styles.

A Baggallini to Love

The bagg I bought has 3 flat zippers across the front and a side one on the back because I wanted it to be balanced when my things were in it, not tipsy with a kangaroo type pouch on the front. It is irritating if a handbag capsizes each time I set it down and I was at that time in no mood to be chasing a new bag around.

It seems that I continue to wind up doing a lot of unexpected, last minute traveling, and this lightweight purse is always ready. It would be considered understated by my normal standards, but people notice it and remark on how they think they would like one.

I assure them they would love it, and that though I bought the simple black, their designs come in neat, trendy colors with funky linings. It really is a silly temptation to buy one in each style and color!

Right now, you may have your mind on one of the huge, wildly colored beach bags that are popular for summer-time fun so you can keep up with all the stuff and such needed for bright sunlight and long, relaxing days at the shore, but for the important stuff of life that you have to keep handy and safe, you might like to consider getting yourself one of the baggallini designs. There’s one to suit every imaginable need!

My sister & I made a few bags too - out of clothing, t-shirts, etc. - a while back, but it was really fun and I would love to get back into it again! Great Hub idea, thanks! LOL
