Beauty Products to Splurge On

Updated on March 15, 2011

Everyone needs a little bit of a splurge every now and then. There are a few things I'd drop some cash on, but a lot that I wouldn't as well. I purchase most of my products via amazon. I rarely ever do shopping in stores, I just don't see the point. Everything is so much cheaper online, so why not take advantage of it? Here are a few things in which I personally believe are well worth the money spent! I'll link these products below.

Beauty Products to Splurge On

1. Make Up Forever HD Foundation $40

This stuff is amazing. It literally leaves my face looking absolutely flawless. It is a bit pricey, however it lasts a long time. Drug store foundations, for me personally, only last a few months. I recently bought this a few months ago, and I've barely dented it. It gives such an amazing coverage without appearing cakey. I seriously forget that I am even wearing foundation when I've got this stuff on. It comes in wide arrange of colors and sure to fit any color needed. This is a must have, seriously, I couldn't live without it.

2. Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer $20-40

Confession Time: I am seriously a concealer junkie. Its kind of funny actually, because I don't even have problemed skin. I do however, i have some under eye circles and redness. This stuff completely eliminates them, and gives my face a perfect even appearance. I can't stress enough just how much I love this stuff. I'm really trying to rotate this with my nyx concealer pot, as I don't want to use too much. However, a TINY bit goes a very long way.

3. Ben Nye Contour Blush $15

I am terrible at contouring. Correction, I was terrible at contouring. A lot of people use bronzer to contour, however I haven't had much luck with this. I marked this as an expensive product only because I try not too spend too much on blushes and bronzer's. But this is well worth the price. It blends nicely into my skin and really helps my cheek bones pop. I even attempted to contour my nose with it, and it didn't look artificial at all. I love, love, love this product.

4. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion $18-29

This is by far the best eye primer I have tried out. I really do think the price is a bit steep, as primer really isn't something I use too often. Typically I just prime my eyes with concealer, but this stuff really holds your color well. A little bit also goes a long way with this product, and if you're in the market for a good eye primer well, you should give this stuff a try. It doesn't cause your eye make up to crease, or look caked on. Its AMAZING.

5. Coastal Scents Winterberry Palette 75.00

Let me start by saying that I NEVER pay this much money for eye shadow. However, I had my eye on this palette, and I couldn't resist it. It just has such beautiful pigmented colors, and I needed to add it to my collection. I love deep wines and purples, they're one of the only "non-neutrals" that I can use with my skin type. I absolutely adore this palette, I use it on a daily basis. If you're like me and you can't find many non-neutrals that look good on you, then you should really consider giving this is a try.
