Best Eyebrow Pencil For Perfect Eyebrows
One of the basic items in our makeup cases should be a good eyebrow pencil. The eyes are the windows to the soul (yes they are!) and there's nothing quite like the eyes to catch attention, a look, convey a message ... flirt!
Our eyes are what others focus on when they communicate with us - they're the first thing we look at when we meet someone and making the best of them is easier than it looks. The right eye makeup... the most flattering eyeshadow for brown eyes, a great eyeliner that compliments the eye color and of course - the perfect eyebrows are all part of the package.
Eyebrow products and pencils are for defining and adding shape, for covering up defects or darkening the brows. They're awesome, they're inexpensive and the five best eyebrow pencils are featured below.
Maybelline Expert Eyes Twin Brow & Eye Pencils, Auburn
This is the auburn eyebrow pencil - or rather pencils, as you get a pair. Auburn is a good mid-range color for most eyebrows as it works effectively for those with auburn hair and eyebrows as well as those looking to go a little darker - but not too dark, when their eyebrows are blond.
You will need a sharpener for these as they're not automatic pencils - and you'll find that they're a lovely, soft color, great for defining and/or covering sparse eyebrows.
A huge favorite with redheads and blonds - make sure you're using the right color for your eyebrows.
It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil
This is the best waterproof eyebrow pencil - it's also a generic one. IT works with any eyebrow color. Whether you're blond, graying, dark or redheaded it seems to 'magically' blend with your natural hair color.
It's full of vitamins and moisturizing agents and works well with either thin of thick eyebrows.
It's an automatic pencil - and an eyebrow pencil with a brush, so it's a great three-in-one. Gives a lovely finish, doesn't smudge and stays in place all day long - worth every penny.
Sorme Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil With Brush True Taupe #32
This is the best taupe eyebrow pencil - lovely and soft, non-smudging and comes with a small but useful eyebrow shaping brush that's cleverly attached onto the lid. This one's great for those with mid-brown hair colors as it blends well with a range of mid-tones.
It does do a good job of staying put and it's especially good at disguising sparse hair growth. It's also waterproof so it won't let you down on a miserable day - though it isn't an automatic one so get your sharpener ready. Inexpensive, does the job - leaves your eyes looking professionally finished.
Anastasia Brow Wiz
This is an Anastasia eyebrow pencil - again it's waterproof and will stay put throughout the day/night. The pencil is easy to use - glides over the brows leaving just enough color behind to define and shape and it's automatic.
These brow pencils come in three shades, which allows you to choose whichever one matches your hair the closest - ash blond, medium ash and brunette.
Whether you're blond, silver/gray, a redhead, brunette or have black hair, one of the three will suit. There«s also a brow brush for tidying up and finishing off. Highly popular and a recommended buy.
New York Color Classic Eyebrow & Eyeliner Pencil, Jet Black #921
This is the best black eyebrow pencil - and what a price! Buy this one if you're about to spend a few dollars in general else the shipping costs will feel kinda heavy! It's a great little pencil, not a waxy, clumpy type, nice, soft and glides over the brow.
The top pencil for those with black or very dark hair (like me) and once on and set it stays in place all day. Like all the others featured above - take it off with a good makeup remover as it really is meant to stay right where you put it. Cheap, effective - a big thumbs up.
