Best Sites for Cheap Vintage Clothing Online

Shopping Online for Vintage?

These days shopping for and wearing vintage clothing is the trendy, cool thing to do. With a demand increasing every year for vintage clothing, you can bet the prices have increased. Some websites sell vintage clothing for whopping prices ranging anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars for one piece of clothing! This to me is highway robbery, as I used to be able to go into my local thrift shop and find all of my vintage clothing for mere dollars or less.

Some of us do not have the time to go sifting through thrift stores and garage sales. And even more of us do not have the money to spend hundreds of dollars in order to get our vintage clothing fix. So for those of us who want to find good quality vintage clothing for a decent price, here is a quick list of the best sites for cheap vintage clothing online.

Etsy

Probably my most favorite place to shop online for vintage clothing is Etsy.com. Simply go to the website and select the "Vintage" category. You will see thousands of articles of clothing, as well as furniture and housewares to feed your vintage craving. And many of them are at an affordable price.

I have bought numerous vintage items through Etsy and only once have I ran into a problem with a seller. I've bought everything from vintage tea towels to vintage gloves, lingerie, and dresses. You can also find vintage clothing for men on Etsy that is just as good as any other vintage boutique online. Hundreds of vintage clothing sellers are selling their vintage goodies on Etsy right now...so go check it out and get yourself some cheap vintage clothing online now.

Rusty Zipper

Rusty Zipper is a cheap vintage clothing website that has been around for many years and is quite reputable in the vintage clothing industry. I have found some of the best prices and best quality pieces on Rusty Zipper. They categorize their vintage clothing by type of clothing, then by sizes and era. They specialize in vintage clothing mainly from the 1940s through the 1980s.

Rustyzipper.com's selection of vintage dresses, tops, skirts, suits, and accessories leave nothing to be desired. You will find every vintage goodie right here on this site without having to look much further. And you won't break the bank, either. I also really like the fact that this website sells vintage patterns and other odds and ends.

Seasonal items at the Rusty Zipper are also a fun commodity. Teenagers can find the perfect prom dress or suit here and look different than anyone else at the party!

Sydney's Vintage Clothing: Bargain Basement

I am so happy I came across Sydney's Vintage Clothing and especially the Bargain Basement. Why? Because I found the most amazing 50s vintage dress for under $20.00! You can't beat prices like that, folks. The only place you'll pay less for a vintage dress is in a thrift store, and that's if the thrift store hasn't realized the dress is vintage (many thrift stores are now pricing vintage clothing at higher prices as they know the demand is great).

You will find vintage mad men style cocktail dresses, bright rainbow-colored 80s skirts, vintage vests, vintage 70s Jessica McClintock dresses, and so much more. This website is any indie person's vintage clothing dream. The Bargain Basement's selection of hippie maxi dresses is outstanding, as well. You won't be disappointed with the variety and the prices here, as everything seems to be under $50.

Ebay

The last best site for cheap vintage clothing online is none other than the infamous Ebay. Yes, I know...Ebay is so washed up. Or at least that's what seems to be the new idea of Ebay. I don't shop on Ebay for electronics, though...I'm shopping on Ebay for cheap vintage clothing. And I promise you, it can be found quite easily. Check out the options below, for example. A vintage 60s shirtwaist dress with full skirt for only $35? How about a black vintage Jane Victor dress in perfect condition for under $30? You can't beat those prices. Anywhere else online you'd pay over $50 for these vintage beauties, possibly even hundreds depending on the website you land on.

The guys can go on Ebay and find groovy vintage menswear, as well. The supply of men's vintage is actually greater than women's at this point in time, so don't miss out on the vintage pants, suits, jackets, t-shirts, and vests that Ebay has to offer. The prices will stun you.

Voted up and awesome because you've offered us such a great source for inexpensive vintage fashions. I remember when I was a teenager, I was crazy for suit jackets from the 1940s. Paired with a plain tee shirt, tight jeans, and saddle shoes, I was the cat's meow! Or thought I was, especially when I started wearing one red sock and one yellow sock.

I absolutely love Etsy! For just about every occasion lately, I've turned to Etsy either for gifts or decorations, or both. My addiction is starting to rub off onto my husband, too, now....and I know guys may not generally use that site as much as women. Thanks for the great recommendations here in this hub! I had never heard of the Rusty Zipper. I will have to check that site out.
