Empire

An empire dress is defined by the raised waistline and lightly fitted around bust line. The rest of the bodice falls straight. It looks so ethnic and traditional. It gives a Romanian look.

Lighter fabrics work best on the empire design because they allow to flow from the waistline such as soft silk chiffon. It is perfect for contrasting two fabrics, such as pairing a detailed bodice with a simple satin skirt.

For whom – Best choice for brides who have small bust and unstructured hip. The straight line makes one's figure appear thinner. It is good for the pregnant brides.

Note : Not suitable for tall brides as it will show them even taller. Same applies for big bustier women.
