Great rain boots at discount prices!

Remember wearing rain boots when you were a kid? My mom called them galoshes. I hated wearing them. Mine were always too big, and they certainly weren’t attractive. Sure, they kept my footsies nice and dry, but as a child, I would have readily opted for wet feet.

My, how things have changed! I have two beautiful granddaughters, and my daughter really likes to dress them up in the latest fashions. Imagine my surprise when they wanted rain boots a couple of years ago! Of course, they got them, and I was pleasantly startled to observe the evolution of the humble rain boot. They ones the girls had were just too cute! And on top of that, the little princesses got slickers and umbrellas to match.

I've also discovered that the rain boots are now super chic for infants and babies! For many of the child rain boots, adorable slickers, rain coats, and umbrellas are available to match! How would your little guy like to have a pair of fireman rain boots and a matching fireman rain coat?

Just last month, I experienced another epiphany - teenagers and adults are also embracing the rain boot phenomenon. My sister-in-law informed me that every one of her teen and tween grandkids had rain boots at the top of their Christmas lists! Why? She explained.

Rain boots are super comfy and available in a wide range of colors, styles, and patterns - plaids, animal prints, checks, paisley, cartoon prints, and retro prints. Some have lady bugs, some have dots, some have horses, and some have frogs. Some are insulated, some have fur trim, and some have buckles. The choices are amazing. Besides that, they're ultra practical. They keep your feet nice and dry in the snows and slush of winter and in the rain and puddles of spring. They're also incredibly easy to care for. They can be wiped with a damp cloth, or if they get really muddy, they can hosed down!

Slipping them off and on is a cinch, too - many come with side-loop handles or a back pull tab. According to rain boot afficionados, the boots are surprisingly warm when paired with a toasty pair of socks. I guess the rubber boots hold in heat.

The trend has really caught on! Even men are discovering the comfort and practicality of the reborn rain boot. Of course, they don't usually want the pink ones! Lots of guys wear the boots for hunting and sloshing through the woods and brush. Several of the men's rain boots have thick textured soles for sure footing on ice and other slick surfaces.

Check out the rain boots below at discount prices and sale prices, great for every member of the family! Don't pay boutique prices for a trendy pair of rain boots when you can get great rain boots at a great discount price! Most of the top brands of rain boots are represented, including Western Chief, Chooka, Kidorable, Tretorn, Sweet Potatoes, Kamik, Hello Kitty, Dirty Laundry, Boss, Lacrosse, Kinzo Kimono, Hatley, Boggs, Muckboots, and Old Navy - all at discounted prices!

Infants' rain boots

Okay, I'll admit...when I first heard of rain boots for infants, I wasn't crazy about the idea. I mean, they don't walk, right? Aren't rain boots for the purpose of keeping your feet dry? I changed my mind after seeing how cute the infants' rain boots were!

The products below are just a sampling of what's available. To see more, clickon any one of the infants' rain boots below.

Toddler rain boots

My four-year-old granddaughter has a couple of pairs of the rain boots for toddlers, and she love them! I think she'd wear them every day if her mom would let her. The toddler rain boots are a great choice for those rainy days when she has to slog through a puddle or two to get to the bus after pre-K. Wearing them is a lot better than having her ruin her good leather shoes.

Girls' rain boots

My seven-year-old granddaughter loves her rain boots, too. I think she wishes that it would rain every school day just so she'd have an excuse to wear her super-cute rain boots to school!

Boys' rain boots

Yep - of course boys can wear rain boots! They might not come in pink or purple, but there are plenty of boys' rain boots available. Check out the "tough" boys' rain boots below. These would be great to wear while fishing, hunting, or following Dad through the woods. The fireman rain boots could evenbe part of a fireman Halloween costume.

I was a splasher--- I couldnt resist puddles when I was a kid. Somehow, I think that contributed to me taking up the kayak. :-D

Lol, CM. I was a splasher, too! I loved playing in the rain - as long as ther was no lightning around. I think you'd look cute in a pair of hot pink rain boots!
