Dress Like Meenakshi

As you can tell from the movie preview, Meenakshi is always dressed to impress. Gorgeous hair, jewelry and of course, sarees! Lucky for us Meenakshi fans, we can also have this same breathtaking and sexy clothing at a very affordable price. Cbazaar and Aiyyaa collaborating on this, is like a match made in heaven.

Lovely, colorful and perfectly wearable in any occasion, sarees are traditionally worn by Eastern women and are a reflection of their vitality, beauty, creativity and passion. How remarkable is it that a lengthy piece of fabric can be transformed into what you see here?

What is a Saree?

A long sheet of cloth that can range anywhere from 4 - 9 yards that is usually worn over a blouse and draped around the body in a way that it is fashioned into an outfit. The saree has origins going back as far as 2800-1800 BC. That's a lot of cloth!

History tells us that there are more than 80 ways to wear a saree. Now if that's not multipurpose, I don't know what is. But just in case a saree is not quite your style. There are other exciting and traditional looks to be worn instead like salwar kameez.

Oh, teaches12345, yes! They are certainly beautiful. I was so excited when I found their website, because their sarees are much more affordable than other places I've looked at online. Hope to see you in one-send pictures!

Thanks so much for commenting!

Oh my goodness, these are beautiful! I would love the red saree or the black and gold silk. I would need lessons on how to wrap and drap these for the perfect look. Voted up.
