Denim is an lifestyle brand. Denim can be utilized to create funky jeans, jackets, shirts, dresses, and skirts and even Accessories like bags and caps. Even denim corsets look absolutely fab. Depending on the weight of the denim, it can be used to make any style of garment, it can be dyed any color and the beauty of denim is that it is hard-wearing and has universal appeal.

Denim was used to make tents, then used to make overalls and eventually used to make jeans. Abusing denim as much as possible simply makes it look better. So while there may be several of us who might shudder with the whole ripped at thickness look and monkey washes, there are plenty who find slim cut, low waist-ed jeans rather boring.

The latest blends in denims come with a metallic sheen as well as in a variety of stretch denims blended with linen and lycra. And in case you’re wondering which styles you opt for, slim cuts, straight cuts, slim fit, regular and boot cuts are really hot right now. The vintage look with wash down effects and crushed effects is also hugely popular among the youth. However, whatever you choose, avoid compromising on the comfort levels. You wouldn’t want to be caught dead wearing low waisted jeans with half your derriere hanging out!!

Denim is an enduring fashion statement an all time favorite with both the sexes. Even after 200 years denims classic and modern look makes it stand out. Style is all about being comfortable in whatever you wear and being able to carry it off. So when you are in a style fix, denims are a sure shot option they look good with practically everything!!

Taking Care of Denims

Always wash denim inside out. Never bleach jeans, dry them in direct sunlight as this fades the fabric. Always rinse tour denim with plenty of water to remove the detergent.

What Suits You Best?

The style to locating that perfect pair of jeans that fits snugly in all the right places lies in how well you can carry it off.

  • Determine your body type.
  • If you are broad or more on the curvy side, opt for straight or regular fits in darker colours since they tend to have a slimming effect.
  • If you are petite and narrow built, skinny jeans look great on you. As for colours, go all out and experiment!!
  • Pear shaped bodies’ look fabulous in boot cut jeans as they flatter the right curves.

Denims are the ultimate crossover fabric. Dark denims with a formal top or shirt are great for an evening out while worked upon washes that give a rugged look are for more casual occasions.
