Diamond Factory Review

Having recently purchased a diamond engagement ring from diamondsfactory.co.uk I have written this review to share with you all what kind of buying experience I had. My reason for sharing the information is because that when I searched the interne I couldn't find any reviews and therefore was a little jubious about buying a diamond online not know the adress of the company and whether or not I was actually going to receive my diamond. Afterall you commonly hear these days how many people get scammed on the internet out of millions of pounds every year! So I had a choice to make... take the risk or not.

I took what I thought was a risk and purchased the diamond engagement ring paying by credit card online. When you purchase an email is sent to you which confirms your order and payment and the company adress is also shared on there. Diamonds factory is based in London. This made me feel a bit more at ease so I decided I would sit back and wait. After 2 weeks I still hadn't heard anything so I decided to give them a call. I gave the operator my order code and she told me roughly when it would be delivered - she was friendly and polite.

The ring took exactly 3 weeks from the day of ordering to reach my letterbox. It was well wrapped and the ring is absolutely stunning. The certificate came in a plastic case also and is 100% legitimate so I know it's the real deal. The quality of the ring is excellent - nothing like some of the cheap diamonds that you can buy on tv shopping channels.

Overall I rated my experience with diamondsfactory.co.uk 9/10. It would have been 10 out of 10 had the delivery time been a bit faster, but then the ring I ordered was custom made to the right size so I am probably just a little bit impatient.

If you are still doubting it because you think I could be an inside mole from diamonds factory, then I can assure you I am not! I simply produce websites to earn from them through advertising and wanted to share this experience with you. I don't think that you will find what diamonds factory offer anywhere else for the same quality and the same price. Even the diamond was slightly larger than the one I ordered but I was complaining... happy days. When your ring arrives please come back and share your experiences by adding a comment below!

ive read the previous reviews and hand on heart im not so sure they are genuine.my partner and i have been looking at rings for quite some time and came across the diamondsfactory in london. i must say their website is amazing and portray very good detailing of the rings which they are posing to sell. so much so that i picked a few of their rings out and emailed them. i did receive an email back very quickly in response to my questions, so still being interested i booked an appointment to go down and see them personally, as i also found that they do have some rings in stock and can indeed sell them. Straight away i became excited as i thought id be walking home with a ring on my finger.

when we located the building which was a block of offices/workshop units we thought we were in the wrong place as diamondsfactory was not listed on the intercom system. lucky for the customer previous to us they told us that diamondsfactory were trading under the name nile. we buzzed and were let in through the building into an office room that consisted of a glass display cabinet x2 and the assistant and the posed jeweller who looked more like a sales rep. as i had booked an appointment the assistant brought out the ring i was enquiring about. i held it, looked at it and felt discusted, infuriated and extremly angry. the design code was dfshsr017. on the website you can see each diamond clearly on the shoulders and the solitare very clear it appears to be a sturdy ring but in reality the ring was very light which platinum shouldnt be!, the ring wasnt as thick as it looked and the metal work over crowded the diamonds because they were so small it looked like a piece of tin foil with a shoddy cheap diamonique and i say diaminique not diamond quality. feeling annoyed i looked at the tray of ring settings for all the designs they had in white gold some platinum but not many and gold, actually i was showed 2 trays. none of their stock impressed me. i found the quality very poor. they didnt have any trays of diamonds loose to check the quality of, only the ones set in the rings. the ring bands on the solitare single stone rings were as thin as a coca cola ring pull and were very weak and flimsy. you look on this website and the cheapest ring is around £7/800+ with the smallest of diamond and the yellowest in colour. for most people thats still alot of money and it is poor quality. i left as i said disgusted and angry. we walked around hatton gardens into each jewellers to view their stock. theres an awful lot of jewellers all next door to each other and all of which are in competition with each other so you can see their stock face to face and get a good deal, and know what you are getting is the real deal. i got my ring from another jewellers which is a different style but exaclty what i wanted. use their website as a base to educate you on diamonds and with that knowledge use it when talking to other jewellers to haggle a price on the ring you are interested in. these workshop office units were £500 under rental, and any company that trades under 2 names or multiple names i would do my research and check with trading standards. i would never suggest to anyone to use their services

patricia,

I am guessing that in order to keep prices down they use as little a overhead as possible, did you expect to turn up and it be like walking into Harrods?

the fact that over a month ago there were rings on there for approx £500 means this fantastic research you purported to do is about as good as your spelling

Nile could very well be the parent company, so would you complain that Asda are "dodgy" as they also trade under WalMart?

people could quite easily argue you are a disgruntled employee?

I have to say Patricia's comments surprise me and are in complete contradiction to my own experience. I visited their office with my girlfriend and we were shown a wide range of rings with varying qualities of stones and also a number of loose diamonds. Unlike some jewellers they didn't pressure us in any way and were willing to answer all our questions. We placed an order and collected it 4 weeks later and made a saving of around 35% over some of the other jewellers in Hatton Garden. Regarding the name, if you look on their web site you'll see that they're registered under the name Neve (which is I believe the name on the buzzer not Nile). You can check them out on the British Jewellers Associaiton Web site here

All in all we are very pleased with our purchase and would thoroughly recommed Diamonds Factory / Neve.

After months of deliberating over rings I found the diamonds factory website and was very excited that I could potentially have a decent size diamond for our budget of £2500, I made an appointment to visit the showroom in Hatton Garden with my Fiance, when we arrived we waited for the sales man to come and get us and take us up to the office where he proceeded to show me some of the rings i had asked to see, I was told none of these were real diamonds or even white gold etc, anyway although I did feel slightly uneasy I chose a ring and we paid a £700 deposit, I was told it would take 2-3 weeks, after 2 and a half weeks I called them they said it was ready, I arranged to collect it with my partner in a few days. Like any woman I was so excited I had butterflies and couldnt wait to try my ring on, the sales man handed me the ring and my heart sank, the centre diamond was lovely but the 1 of the side diamonds had such a large inclusion in it it looked like a big brown blob, the white gold band was covered in scratches and what should of been intricate detail didnt look like it had been filed down properly, the mans reason just needs more polishing,no apology nothing, we decided to let them polish it although had apparently been through quality controll already, we were ment to go back after a few days to collect it but when we left we saw the quality of service from the jewllers around and decided to get a refund.... A very dissapointing time for us when its ment to be exciting....

After reading the reviews here I was dubious about purchasing with this company until I called them and spoke to the staff. They were very helpful and made choosing my diamond a lot easier, as someone with not a clue about diamonds I found calling them a great help. The guy I spoke to was very patient with me (bless him!)as I needed advice on everything! I mentioned the reviews on this site and expressed my concerns about purchasing. I was then informed that they supply jewellery to 400 people on average every month and i realised that most happy customers wouldnt go online to write a review - which is why i have!. I now have the ring and Im absolutely chuffed! the diamond is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend diamonds factory :)

I thought I will write a review as I was in a shoes of people who are still considering Diamonds Factory as a choice to buy their engagement ring, so I will start from the beginning, after some loooong time searching for a ring in online shops ( I have give up on High Street rings, as there is no really a choice and specs of diamonds are usually crap...) I have come across Diamond Factory, website looks very promising with all the option to customize your ring, I was delighted, finally I have make up my mind what kind of ring I want with all specifications I could afford, and after exchanging few emails with Diamonds Factory (many thanks to Zoey...) I have make an appointment to see what they can offer in person as I preferred to see it in person before I will do such a important and expensive purchase, I must say I was a bit nervous, I already knew that Diamonds Factory is not named on their intercom system as it was ‘Neve’, I have been taken to their presentation room, which was not the most impressive I must say, but I was not interested in fancy building but in the ring I have specified...I was told that all expositions are not real diamonds, finally when I have seen my ring that I have seen on the website I was a bit disappointed as band was a bit to tiny, I have expressed my disappointment about this straight away to the salesman and I was offer to customize bigger widh of the band with no extra cost, also I have changed my mind with changing diamond clarity while I was there thanks to good advice of their team, and that’s it...I was told that the best it will be that I will pay about 50% of the prize now and the rest when I will collect the ring which will be in about ¾ weeks (a bit longer as I have requested laser inscription on my diamond with GIA certification), so I have waited patiently, after about 4 weeks I have emailed them asking for my ring, and very shortly I did received reply that ring will be ready for collection in 2 days...I thought ‘That is your moment of truth’ when I have entered the building, I have been seated in the same presentation room and waited for sale person to bring my ring....and.....The ring was STUNNING, I have fallen in love immediately with this ring, all aspects of the ring were perfect and on a top of everything I have save a lot of money comparing to High Street prices...well worth of waiting couple of weeks, so my advice for those guys or couples who are looking for a ring with a good looking settings and bargain diamond prize is that Diamonds Factory is the company to recommend.

And last comment is when I have come back to collect my ring I have noticed that ‘Neve’ have changed to ‘Diamonds Factory’ on the intercom system, so nobody should have any problems with finding them.

has anyone got any of their rings valued yet by a high street jeweller? and has it matched up to the amount that the say the ring is worth?

I found another site that has reviews on this company - http://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.diamondsfacto...

the feedback looks good and only verified buyers can comment.

I found it useful

I ordered a 1.5 ct diamond eternity ring from diamonds factory, I paid extra for a VS/F grade diamond, as I wanted something that was really good quality. When it came, I thought it was okay, but it didn't seem as sparkly as I was expecting. I have a friend who is a jeweller, he looked at the ring and pointed out that the band was too thin for the size of the ring, also two of the stones twizzled around. He also said he would dispute that the stones were F/VS as he could see some large inclusions. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and you really need to see the ring and try it on yourself before you buy.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!

Our appointment with Amy was very smooth and at no time did we feel under any pressure to buy. Amy was very professional and knowledgeable about the products. The ring was received in the timescale advised and it was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend the Diamonds Factory.
