Easy Ways To Pamper Yourself
There is always a moment when we feel too tired or we wake up in a down mood. Some of us change those days with only a little detail. Those moments are the perfect time to pamper yourself. Why not? Maybe you have too much stress at work or maybe you are going trough a tough time in college. Whatever been the reason you can spoil yourself a little bit to feel better. Even your self confidence get a boost with the tips you will find below. You will feel fresh for a whole new start. These are some things I do when I feel sad or tired of the routine.
1. A relaxing bubble bath
No people we don't see this just in movies. This is one of the most relaxing experience you can ever had. Choose a soft and relaxing scent to you your bubbles such as lavender or vanilla. You can also add some scented sea salt to your bubble bath to help relax those swollen muscles and feet. Put soft music, a few candles, close your eyes and enjoy some time just for you. Leave apart your problems, your stress, just relax.
2. A Pedicure And Manicure
Usually we don't have too much time to spend pampering our feet and hands. Well, this is a great opportunity to do it. Work the rough parts, cut you nail toes and work your cuticles. Put some moisturizer cream and some color. Buy a new awesome color or just keep it simple with a delicate french! Your feet and hands will thank you. Believe it or not you will feel prettier, and people will see that confident and new energy you project. Now you are ready to hit the road with those hot sandals you got for summer.
3. A Facial
You are going to leave your skin smooth while you start to feel revitalized. Put a face mask depending on your skin type. If your skin is oily you can opt for a clay or mud mask. If your skin is dry you can choose one made of avocado for example. The cucumber mask goes with any type of skin and is very refreshing. Then you can use a gentle scrub and finish with a moisturizer. You are not going to believe how soft and bright your face will be. We also get an extra point for our self confidence!
4. Relax With A Girly Drink
We are not going to get drunk or nothing like that. Here is what you are going to do. First, wait until everybody is sleep, so nobody interrupt you. Sit in silence with your a glass of your favorite girly drink and read your favorite book or magazine. This is what I call quality time for yourself. I would say it is one of my favorites activities when is time to rest my mind. Hey, you deserve it!
This one is a favorite one. Just tell me who is going to resist to a delightful chocolate? Sometimes when I feel down I just take a Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream and eat it all by myself while watching a good movie. Of course that is once in a while, I don't want to loose my figure! By the way, I was reading that chocolate has some chemicals components that can change our mood. So, don't blame yourself anymore. Indulge your craving with a delicious chocolate.
Well, there you have five different and easy ways to pamper yourself. You can combine them or do a different activity once a week. We work hard every day and we deserve some time just for us. Yes we are busy and sometimes we don't have much time to dedicate to spoil our self. But girls, it is not the quantity but the quality of the time you dedicate to you. Even if is just a couple minutes once a week try to make those minutes the most pleasant of your life.
