Fake MAC Cosmetics

Updated on October 12, 2011

My fake eyeshadow

So the other day I was searching around for MAC eyeshadow on Ebay, totally clueless about how the real stuff looks since I can't afford it. I just knew it was expensive and great quality (from what I've heard, seen and read). So here I am searching and come across the MAC 120 palette. Oh my god, my mind exploded with awesomeness because I HAD to have it. But of course, money is tight and I decided to wait.

Well, anyway. I had $9 to spare and I bought MAC pigment in the color Typographic. I thought it was a decent deal for MAC pigment. It arrived and I wore it yesterday ALL day in the hot sun and heat and it did VERY well. I can say, I'm not disappointed in the product at all. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion and just put it on and it stayed all day and never creased. So overall, good fake product (in my opinion).

So today was the day. I had the money and I found a cheap MAC 120 Palette. So I bought it for $32 and free shipping. Pretty good deal seeing how they were going for $50-$80. BUT... all good things must come to an end I guess.

I just figured out an hour ago that MAC never made a 120 palette and my pigment was fake. Well, my palette has not been shipped yet so I can't say if it's good quality or not. I'm hoping it is. I just wanted to let everyone know that you should ALWAYS look into what you are buying before you buy it. Don't make the mistake I did. Although I'm not happy about being fooled by false advertising... OR maybe the person selling it didn't know.... I'm not worrying about it really. Just be advised that the palette you are paying $50 for probably cost $10 to buy and most of them are from China. (No, I do not have anything against foreign countries! Just getting that out there). Feel free to comment. I will answer all questions! :)

P.S. The pigment again was nice in my opinion, I will try my best to update this when my palette gets here!
