This fragrance is two main features, which include the jasmine absolute and May rose absolute. The delicate flowers are elevated with a touch of Florentine Iris. The citrusy top notes are balanced by the heart of a floral scent along with litchi fruit, with a smooth finish vanilla musk scent that embodies a feeling of luxury and and elegance.

• Eau de Toilette - Somewhat less concentrated than Eau de Parfum. Lasts from four to six hours.
• Eau de Parfum - Longer lasting with increased oil content that stays on your skin. Lasts a minimum of eight hours.

Before I learned about perfume notes, I would spray a perfume on my skin and then think, "Wow, this smells like alcohol", or "Ewww, I don't like this scent". Always let a perfume set on your skin before deciding whether you love it or not.

There is a reason!! The perfume will change as it sets on your skin. Over a period of time the perfume will change according to the notes within its composition. Each perfume has a unique set of notes. Notes are what make the perfume smell the way it does.

The top notes will sing for about ten to fifteen minutes. You will smell the top notes first. The middle notes come in next and last approximately thirty minutes to an hour more. In the last stage of the fragrance, the base notes come in and will remain on your skin for the remainder of the day. Therefore, you should wear a perfume for about an hour before deciding whether you like it or not. This is when the base notes come in that you may not notice at the first spray.

Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel does not come cheap, by any means. The best place that I found to purchase this fragrance was on eBay.
