Hairstyling: How-to Style This Short Wispy Cut
Products you'll need to achieve this short wispy hairstyle are: Shampoo and leave-in conditioner; hair gel; Hot Sets spray; light wax, and flexible hairspray.
First you shampoo and condition your hair. Towel dry and rub a little more conditioner in your hair. Dry slightly. Add gel to the roots and a little bit all over. Turn head upside down and brush hair straight while blowing it dry.
Next, pull the amount of bangs you'd like to the side. Take the hair in the middle of your head and spray a spritz of Hot Sets on the tip of the hair section. Roll backwards. Take section at the base of your head, (right on top) and roll backwards. Follow down the back of your head and roll one more section downwards. What your left with at the bottom is the part you roll up.Spray the Hot Sets on each time you curl a section. Do the flip up at the bottom in three sections: the middle and two sides. Speaking of sides, curl the sides and the bangs under.Let hair dry completely and then finger comb it back where it goes back, and forward where it goes forward. Tease the top and then piece and scrunch with a little wax on your fingertips.Tuck hair behind your ears and spray a little spritz of hairspray here, and one there. Then a quick all over spray.
When you look at the hairstyle you can see which way to curl the hair to get it to go that way. It's easier than it sounds. It's a great messed up look that's very different for short hair. It's a fun cut to wear.
Don't give up on styling this cut. It takes practice to get the look, but it's not really hard because as you can see the hair is all over the place, as it should be.
