Hair care a few simple tips
When we speak about beauty normally every other women pays much attention to facial beauty care, body and dressing, but they disregards the most important part of beauty- hair care. Always it is said that beauty starts from your head. And that too despite the relevance of hair to "personality impact" if you disregard the importance of hair care, it is nothing but a sin. Therefore it is necessary and important to take proper care of one's hair. Only then will your hair look shiny, the hairstyle attractive, lending an extra glow to your personality.
Do follow these simple suggestions for hair care:
Do massage your hair once or twice a week with a good hair oil. Steam your hair after the massage. If you wish you can also use a vibrator after steaming, or take a towel dipped in warm water and wrap it around your head for 10-15 minutes. This will enable the oil to be completely absorbed by the scalp and hair, which is important for proper nourishment and blood circulation in the scalp.
Do wash your hair with a good shampoo suited to your hair type after the oil massage. Shampoo your hair twice a week for normal care, and if you feel that your hair often becomes dirty and greasy, then shampoo it for 3 to 4 times a week.
Choose shampoo according to your hair type. For example: Use rich shampoo with conditioner and moisturiser for dry hair, a mild shampoo with conditioner for normal hair, a mild shampoo with adequate conditioner for combination hair and a lemon and egg shampoo for greasy hair.
Do wet your hair before shampooing. Then take the shampoo on your fingertips and massage it on your scalp. Or even mix the shampoo with a little water in a mug and then massage it on your scalp, this way the shampoo will thoroughly reach all parts of the scalp and hair.
Do massage the shampoo on the scalp with right hand, or on the hand with which you are dominant. After shampooing clean your hair with clean and fresh water to rinse out the shampoo completely, because if the shampoo remains in the hair it will give an messy look to the hair, taking away its natural shine.
Use a medicated shampoo if you are plagued by dandruff. Stop its use once you are rid of the dandruff, because if you use continuously the medicated shampoo it will turn your hair lifeless and lustreless.
Do use a conditioner after shampooing for glossy, healthy hair. For that you can use a conditioner from your kitchen shelf, like egg, yogurt, lemon juice, vinegar and henna. Conditioning hair twice a moth will definitely do wonders for your hair.
Do not towel dry or use a hair dryer. Dry hair naturally in mellow sunlight or open air.Do not even comb wet hair, this will weaken the roots and cause them to fall. Comb your hair only when dry.
You can use a hair gel or a hair spray to set and style your hair, but don't make it a must.
Do remember that coloured or chemically treated hair should always be shampooed after the use of the chemical product as a safeguard against the harmful effects of the chemicals.
Do not tie or pull hair back tightly with pins, hair or rubber-bands. And also try to avoid the use of rollers, curlers, crimpers or go in for perms which tend to weaken the hair. You can use it occasionally.
Keep the habit of trimming your hair regularly to avoid split ends.
To avoid scalp infections,avoid the use of other's towel or comb. And don't forget to clean your towel and comb regularly.
