Guaranteed, if you get him to do it...you both will end up laughing and learning just a little more of what's hidden inside.

Give Him an Audience

For extra benefit for both you and him, take along a friend. Even the shyest most reserved man will perform the larger the audience. If you break down his wall, he will end up not only entertain you and your friends, but he also will discover what makes you laugh.

A man's hat is his "on" button

It won't take you long to figure out his "on" button. He will learn by your response what character he transforms into with what hat. If you want him to be sophisticated...don't encourage him to wear a baseball cap...a brimmed hat like a Fedora will do the trick.

Baseball Hats

Baseball hats fall in a category all their own and there is a time a place to wear them. Again, like stylish type hats, there are both good and bad looks. When a man chooses to wear a baseball hat, his mindset is more of a playful/work focus. You will find that men have favorites and will wear them until they fall apart. These are fun and functional at the same time but certainly not what you want him to wear on a night on the town.

Buying as a Gift

Buying a hat for your man can be a very tricky thing. When he receive one it instantly tells him that he is expected to wear it. You will be able to tell by his "instant" response how he interpreted the intent. Right from the go, let him know the reason why you chose it and how important it is to you. If he sees your excitement his guard will come down and he will trust your judgement. A great companion gift might be a pair of tickets to a special show or event. It is a good idea in this case to give him the tickets first as a build-up.

Show and Tell

The first thing a man will want to do when he receives a hat as a gift is put it on. Stop Him! This is a great time to make the gift even more special. You already know how the hat will look best, There is a big difference between putting on a baseball cap and a stylish hat.

Place the hat on him, adjust it to the "perfect" look and then, get him to look in the mirror so he can see for himself the look you have chosen. Follow it up with a picture of both of you. This simple step will make the occasion everlasting in his mind.

Make Your Man a Legend

A man who loves the hat you chose will serve you well. After all, every time he wears it, he will be wearing part of you. He will wear it proudly.

One of the most important things to consider besides the style and look you are trying to achieve is how well the hat you have chosen actually fits. Determining the right size is an easy process and is best explained in the video below. Unlike pant sizes, once determined it usually won't change very much.

Tone him down a bit. A great choice for romantic walking and talking. This brings out the "real" and the sensitive side of the most man caveman.

Smart Hat

Turn on the suave and sophisticated, the smart and the finesse of your man with a Fedora. Easy to wear and works for both casual and upscale looks.

In Charge

Watch how the protector instinct comes alive when your man is walking next to you. Regardless of the company, he will stand tall and proud of you.
