Holika Holika Clearing Petit BB Cream Review - Korean BB Cream
Holika Holika Clearing Petit BB Cream is from a line of "mini" bb creams. There are several in the line and all of them target different skin types. The one I purchased it for oily and acne prone skin. It contains tea tree oil, which is a natural treatment for acne. I was sold on this product because it meant that I could wear a base while treating blemishes at the same time. It is a makeup that is actually good for my skin!
Packing for the bb cream is very simple. It comes in a small, blue tube. On the tube is a picture of a cat, the name of the product and some text in Korean. Unlike many similar products, there is no English text on the package, but it isn't really needed.
The tube is 30ml, which is about 1 oz. Since the bb cream is quite cheap - around $7 - it is an excellent price for what you get.
The bb cream is thinner than Skin79 Hot Pink. I actually like this because it makes the product easier to spread and apply. It also does not have a grey tint and comes out a very light beige color, which is fantastic because I don't have to give the makeup time to oxidize and match my skin tone.
Coverage provided by the Holika Holika Clearing Petit BB Cream is light to medium. It actually covered the acne I had quite well. When I wrote it, I did not use an under eye concealer and it covered dark circle moderately. If you have dark circles, I do recommend you use a separate concealer.
It evened out my skin tone and redness was no longer visible. It also blended in with my skin color quite nicely, so I didn't even need to apply the product to my neck! It dries to a matte finish and does a good job at controlling oil. Once it dried, I did not feel the product on my skin, which is really amazing. This bb cream is super comfortable to wear because it honestly feels like I'm not wearing makeup.
For the price, I don't think I could ever find a better product. I think I'm in love! I like this bb cream better than both the Skin79 Hot Pink and Etude House Magic BB Creams. It comes in a super portable package, helps to combat acne and just feels so light. I would definitely recommend this product.
