1. Grow Out Your Hair

First, to emulate Kate Middleton's hair style, you'll need to grow out your hair to mid length past your shoulders. If your hair is curly or wavy, you’ll likewise need to straighten your hair before coloring it to a chestnut hue.

The best hair straightening products do not contain lye. You can use a natural strengthener like Keratin or the Japanese Hair Straightener for loose to medium, but not kinky curls to keep your hair from breaking, or drying out over the long-term.

2. Use a Vegetable Color

If you have, dark-brown hair, great, it will be a lot easier to create the shiny, golden and red highlights of Kate Middleton's hair tone. Ask your stylist to use an organic vegetable color dye without ammonia to add a polished, glossy touch that will last the duration of your hair color.

Hopefully, if your colorist does it properly and you use a gentle shampoo, your color won't fade. Next, lighten your hair to a chestnut brunette color by adding golden highlights to your hair to create Kate’s look with a gentle whole plant hair color mix.

3. Wear Your Hair Loose

Notice, Kate Middleton's hair is long, straight with golden-brown tints and a touch of red highlights. She normally wears her hair loose and parted on the side, so you can imitate her look by styling your hair the way she does.

So far, we have seen Kate Middleton wear her hair in a several ways; a half up and half down do with a stylish hat pinned in her hair that is naturally unfastened. Remember, you must grow your hair and make sure you have elongated layering embedded in it, as well.

4. Drench Your Hair with a Natural Oil

You will need to condition your hair weekly, so it remains soft and silky like Kate’s. Using natural oils such as olive oil or coconut oil will do the trick. Drench your hair with oil, cover it with a plastic cap and leave it on for one hour or over overnight. Then, wash your hair with your favorite gentle shampoo, and don’t forget to add a hair rinse and two-minute conditioner.

5. Blow Your Hair Dry in Sections

Part your hair in sections and blow dry from the nap of your neck upwards with a great round, curling boar bristles hair brush, after you've protected your strands with a thermal product.

6. Use Large Rollers

To set soft curls, fasten about nine large rollers to your hair for a few minutes, next remove and comb your hair with your fingertips.

In the morning, comb your hair with a wide tooth comb to untangle any knots, and gently brush your hair with a boar bristles brush.

To have your hair grow shiny and thick, and smell awesome like Princess Catherine, brush your hair in rounds of fifty strokes with a few drops of either lavender or rosemary essential oil added to your brush. Part your hair to the side with a wooden comb and let it hang loose all around.

7. Use Hair Extensions, if Needed

You can insert genuine hair extensions until your hair grows in the middle of your back just like Kate Middleton, and no one will ever notice the difference.

You can also cheat and it’s okay to cheat, if you can’t wait to get Kate Middleton’s lengthy locks by wearing an extended brown wig that's parted to the side, and coloring it to the precise highlights of Kate's hair. And viola, you’ll instantly get the look of Kate Middleton’s hair without making too much of a to-do.
