Summer time’s here! Hydrate: Just like your body, your hair also needs to be hydrated constantly. And especially in the summer months, you need to drink plenty of water and fresh juices to keep your hair from becoming dry and brittle.
Shine: To keep from losing the lustre and shine from your hair during summer, make sure you eat fruits like watermelon, melons, cucumber and drink plenty of nimbupani and coconut water. They will help keep your hair shiny because of their high water content.
Shield: The sun’s rays are harsh on your hair, just like they are on your skin but unlike the skin you don’t feel it on your hair and so tend to ignore protecting your hair from sunlight.
Use an umbrella or a cap whenever you go out into the sun to keep your hair protected from the harsh sun-rays.
Massage: Another reason for unhealthy hair is your body heat. So make sure you massage your hair with coconut oil as this keeps your head cool in summers.
Conditioner: Henna too is considered a good conditioner during the summer months. You can mix it with a little bit of curd and apply it as a hair pack and leave it on for 30 to 40 minutes before washing it off.

Towel Dry: After you wash your hair, avoid using hair dryers or straighteners on your hair as much as possible. Towel dry your hair or simply leave it to dry naturally. Excessive blow-drying depletes the hair of its natural moisture further.
Fried Food: Believe it or not, but what you eat makes a huge impact on your hair and so avoid fried foods and excessive spices in your meals. Try and eat a balanced diet
Exercise: Healthy body equals healthy hair. So make sure you indulge in a regular exercise regimen.
Hair Masks: If your hair is dry and getting further dry during thesummers, you should use hair masks made out of banana and honey or apply curd or egg to condition and moisturize your hair.
Cooling: Multanimitti or fuller’s earth paste with water is also a good cooling mask for your hair in the summers.

1. Take 5 to 10 leaves of hibiscus plant leaves, and coconut oil and boil for 5 to 10 minutes. After boiling, wait up to oil get cool. After cooling apply to your hair and stay for 24 hours with oily hair. Then wash your hairs with warm water, your hairs become very shine and silky.
