A little bit of blazer history

A blazer is known as a sports jacket which cant be worn with matching trousers but is also a casual jacket similar to the suit-style jacket in its shape. Now the question is how did this piece of clothing came to be a popular fashion staple?

The blazer and non matching pants was the most casual and appropriate outfit wear for men during the early part of the last century. It was not worn by sportsmen and those who where involved in the country lifestyle during the 1920s the blazer became one of the most casual clothing's ever young men would wear blazers a lot and the women also created a blazer for their own.

A fashion designer by the name of Coco Chanel used several of her designs of the 1920s made the blazer most famous and she also came up with chic ideas for women that liked to look stylish. The menswear style started becoming a trend for women fashion within the 1930s. Some of the blazers that have been given a upgrade within the recent decades are menswear and preppy looks that would evolve more during the 1970s. The blazer has a structural shape in it that can make an outfit for work look sharper, a weekend look more chicer and a dress feel and look more polished even with the blazer having versatility you can still feel kind of rut wearing it after having it as your go to pulled together look.
