Dry Skin Treatment

The secret to dry skin treatment is an artichoke. In a bowl, mash one cooked artichoke. In order to make it more effective, add 2 teaspoons of olive oil and a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. Once you mixed them well, rub it on your face or any other part of your body with dry skin. Just make sure not to put this treatment on your eyes. After 15 minutes of having this on your skin, rinse it off with warm water.

Skin Tightening Cream

A banana is an ideal fruit for skin tightening. Like the previous treatment, all you have to do is to mash one banana or medium size in a bowl. After that, spread it all over your face gently and make sure not to put the mash on your eyes. Rinse it off using cool water this time after 20 minutes.

Body Scrub

What you will need for this treatment are 1 cup of brown (not white) sugar, ½ cup of olive oil, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla. Once you have the ingredients mix them all well in a bowl until you have a paste-like mixture. Pour this mixture into a container with a tight cap or top or cover. This treatment should be done during your shower time. When you go into shower, massage the mixture gently into your skin and make sure that this mixture would not reach your eyes. The purpose of this treatment is to make your skin look rejuvenated and younger. The mixture will help you to exfoliate and then soften your dry skin.

Foot Cream

For dry and cracked feet, you need to have this foot cream handy. Get yourself an ounce of grated beeswax and ¾ cup of almond oil. Now, mix the two ingredients in a double boiler; cook and stir it until the beeswax liquefies. Now, get a clean container (most preferred is a jar) and pour in the hot mixture. Cover the jar, cap it, or lid it tightly and securely. Let the treatment mixture cool down before you apply it to any part of your foot skin. We do not want to burn your foot to burn here.

Hand Scrub

Exfoliate your hands with this simple to prepare hand scrub. Just mix 1 tablespoon of sugar and an extra-virgin coconut oil directly on your hand. With the mixture on your ready hands, work your way over to both hands making sure to massage over your rough knuckles and palms. Once done, rinse the mixture of your hands with water (preferably lukewarm). Then, use your favorite moisturizer and apply it on your clean hands.

Bath Tea

After all the stress of the day or the preparation for your home spa treatment, it is now time for you to relax. But relax with this special bath tea. Get yourself some dried lavender buds and crushed lemongrass bulbs. Mix them well and tie the mixture to a muslin bag. You can let the herb mixture sit in boiling water for more than 30 minutes and then strain it and pour the resulting mixture into the awaiting bath.

See, there is no need for you to spend hard-earned money on expensive spa treatments because you can certainly treat yourself everyday with a spa treatment in your home.
