Looking Young Naturally

Herbal Beauty Secrets

Pretty skin can be handed down from one generation to another and even if it isnt there are secrets in nature that can change that! Lucky for me my grandmother always had skin that looked younger than she actually was. A wise woman she was and she always told me that there are some things that improve with age, but our skin is not one of them. Its no secret that she was right, for as our skin ages it becomes less elastic, our natural collagen production slows down. Bottom line is that our skin loses the substances to snap back into place. Dead skin cells don't shed as quickly and the turnover of new skin cells decreases. And so we start to see lines and wrinkles. Nature herbs are a well know secret to repairing and rejuvenating skin to a healthy glow and keeping that skin at its best.

Anti aging treatments can help and encourage the healing and regeneration process. To stay healthy and fresh, remember that our skin needs proper nourishment to achieve this. Know that you need a good daily routine. And that is the just the first step.

Skin Secrets from Nature

The healing properties of plants have not changed since the beginning of time. what was a healing herb thousands of years ago is still a healing herb today.Looking young naturally using herbs is not only smart but it is easy, all it takes is a little knowledge. So with a little extra help from mother nature we can turn to the herb Gotu Kola to encourage our skin to produce cells that have slowed down, we can use Aloe Vera to add moisture and rid the old skin to encourage new growth and some may even chose to embrace the natural aging process rather than color our hair. (Maybe that persons skin has a glow that enhances her natural beauty!)

Here are just a few herbs, and the ways we can use them to look younger naturally. I thank my grandmother of course for most of this knowledge, the luck of some good genes and a few of her recipes to keep that perfect complexion!

It is a known fact that Gotu Kola can help rejuvenate your skin cells quickly. Natures way of helping is in promoting skins natural restoration.

Way back in time the root of gotu kola was used as a cure for leprosy, is it any wonder that today this herb still can rejuvenate your skin cells quickly as well as promote natural healing. There is a special compound in Gotu Kola called Triterpenoids that strengthens the skin and increases blood flow, which is how it helps to speed up skin cell regeneration. Benefits are that it will reward you with skin looking young and smooth.

Triterpenes in Gotu Kola are the secret to this perennial extract unique. These triterpenes have been shown to not only stimulate collagen production it also increases circulation, and encourages the bodys ability to naturally recuperate.

Beauty Secret - Gotu Kola serum is applied topically to the face and is worn beneath standard moisturizers and make up.

My spoken English is pretty awful, but I can always resort to a pen and a desk pad. ;)

wavegirl22 profile image

wavegirl22 6 years ago from New York, NY Author

hypno - somehow that is hard to believe! Your pen is just too good, maybe your accent gets in your way .. but to american women that accent when speaking English is way sexy!

hypnodude profile image

hypnodude 6 years ago from Italy

It should be the same with american women speaking Italian. This is very interesting, we should definitely have a small talk. :):)

wavegirl22 profile image

wavegirl22 6 years ago from New York, NY Author

hypno-I am afraid that is not the case. When I speak Italian everyone kinda laughs . . somehow my NY accent just does not translate as well as your Italian accent does in English! But I can roll my "r"'s pretty well!

Si! Dobbiamo sicuramente avere un colloquio di piccole dimensioni:))

hypnodude profile image

hypnodude 6 years ago from Italy

The rolled r actually is pretty (very) sexy. When I went to Great Britain for my Hypnotherapy Diploma everyone was laughing too; usually I read and write almost without dictionary, and I can understand pretty well spoken English. But my spoken English at its best is just funny.

Since your written Italian seems pretty good I can always lend you the desk pad. ;)

wavegirl22 profile image

wavegirl22 6 years ago from New York, NY Author

Hypno .. trust me my Italian is at best understanable when I order a glass of wine. . basta! You better get that desk pad ready!!!

:)
