Lucchese Alligator Boots

The company that makes Lucchese alligator boots was founded in 1883. Sam Lucchese, Sr. came to America when he was just seventeen years old, determined to make his mark as a boot maker. It only took him three years from the time he arrived in Texas until he started the Lucchese Boot Company.

However, it wasn't until Sam's grandson, Sam Jr., took over in the 1960s that the Lucchese line developed into something really special. Sam Jr. was absolutely obsessed with the art of boot making and the human foot. He redesigned the company's boots to create a boot that outperformed any other for comfort, fit and quality.

Lucchese Alligator Boots

Lucchese alligator cowboy boots are made with alligator skin in the foot portion of the upper and use a different type of leather to form the shaft of the boot. The type of leather used depends of the style of boot. Here are descriptions of a few of the alligator boot styles available from Lucchese.

Lucchese Classics L1060 Alligator Tail Cowboy Boots

These boots are brown in color, and the shaft is darker than the upper. The upper is made from American alligator tail in the boot and the shaft is leather. This boot has a 2 1/2" scallop and features Red River cording.

Lucchese Men's Harley-Davidson El Dorado Boot

This boot is black and has an alligator wrap with calf skin upper. There is a white Harley-Davidson design on the shaft with a swirling pattern around it and silver stars on the side of each boot. Like all Lucchese boots, Lucchese Harley-Davidson boots are made in the USA in El Paso, Texas.

Lucchese Classics L3015 Alligator Tail Cowboy Boots

This Lucchese alligator boot has a shaft made from kangaroo leather. Lucchese alligator boots are hand made by people who take pride in their work. The quality of Lucchese boots is unmatched by any other boot company.
