Men's Arm Tattoos
The most common place for guys to get a tattoo is on the arm. It used to be almost taboo for a woman to get a tattoo on the arm, but as times have changed it is not so uncommon. Men just like getting arm tattoos. Some just like how they look on the arm because of the fact they are easily spotted.
The warmer months like Spring and Summer is when most people decide to get tattoos. That's the time of year when you are running around in bathing suits and muscle shirts, making it perfect to show off those new tattoos !
The other thing you have to be careful of is the sun. Sun will fade out your tattoo. While it is healing your tattoo is very sensitive and if it's exposed to the sun it will feel like it's burning.

How to Take Care of a Arm Tattoo
You must make sure before you get an arm tattoo that you know what to expect. Because the arm is an area of the body that is used for almost everything, make sure that you are prepared for the effects. What I mean is, there is a lot of pulling of the scab as a tattoo heals so if you have to do anything real physical you may want to hold off on getting your tattoo.
You also have to keep new tattoos out of the sun and water. A lot of people get tattoos and don't realize that they can't go swimming for 2-3 weeks while their tattoo heals. Which is not ideal if it's the Summer time and you are on vacation.

How to Take Care of a Tattoo
There is a lot of talk about what to put on a new tattoo. Most people are told to put on A&D Ointment. The problem with A&D is that it coats your new tattoo putting a barrier over your tattoo.
Your tattoo needs air to heal properly. An unscented lotion is actually better than A&D because it moisturizes your tattoo while letting it breathe and heal quicker.
