Non Surgical Liposuction

Introduction to Non Surgical Liposuction

Non surgical liposuction is a common generic term for fat removal surgery that have the same effect as liposuction without having to go through the same invasive procedures as more conventional liposuction. This makes the series of treatments that are grouped together as "non surgical liposuction" an attractive alternative for those consumers who aren't keen on the idea of actual surgery. Just a little procedure and then follow that up with a post liposuction support girdle and these procedures are safer and less invasive than ever. There are some definite advantages to this particular medical procedure, just as there are some disadvantages. In some ways normal liposuction and non surgical liposuction are very similar. If you are considering any type of weight reduction surgery, you need to do your research and make sure to talk with medical experts and doctors before deciding on any type of surgery. Non surgical liposuction should be treated with the same respect, and hopefully this page will give you some information before heading to a doctor or expert to learn more.

How Does Non Surgical Liposuction Work?

How non surgical liposuction works depends on what specific procedure you decide to undergo. There are several different different procedures or types of non-surgical liposuction and not all of them are the same. Each one is going to involve slightly different tools, recovery time, costs, and actual work by the doctors. These actions are sometimes also referred to as body sculpting or body contouring. If you also read about non surgical liposculpture, it's probably referring to the same field of different medical procedures.

Most forms of non surgical liposuction use one of two very common methods for achieving full results.  The most common and popular method seems to be using injections.  Using extremely small and thin needles, this form of these procedures usually involves using a variety of things, from protein (amino acid) strains to enzymes and mild medications that combine to melt and flash the small excess areas of fat from the system.

The next most popular technique used in non surgical liposuction seems to be the use of a laster to "melt" the fat away.  This technique is fairly modern and advanced, and is also very similar to the same type of procedure that is used in order to perform a non-surgical face lift.

Non surgical liposuction costs are also going to vary based on how much fat you need to have removed, as well as what portion of the body it's going to come from. While the following prices are general estimates, you'll always want to ask up front what the prices are for any individual liposuction specialist you go to see.

On average, non surgical liposuction will be in the same price range as an actual surgical liposuction procedure. Many procedures will cost anywhere from $1,500 to $7,000. Arms, backs, hips, waists, and butts tend to cost on the lower side of this range, while procedures that deal with stomachs, breasts, the neck and facial features tend to cost on the higher side. Everything else usually falls in the middle range.

The costs from non surgical liposuction will vary, as will the costs of very specific procedures such as vaser liposuction, so always check in person with local lipo experts, and compare prcies and services offered.

What to Think About Before Lipo of Any Kind

There are many different things you should consider before deciding on non surgical liposuction.  One of the first things you need to understand is that liposuction of any kind isn't a magic bullet for major weight loss.  In fact, you have to be in good shape in order to qualify for liposuction.  If you're looking to lose a last stubborn 15 pounds that won't burn off no matter how much you've tried, then maybe non surgical liposuction is a legitimate option to take care of that last little bit that you're struggling over.

I would say Smart Lipo or Lipodissovle would also fit into this mix which I have written about too.

Hi ocbill,

I'd agree. I didn't even know there was non surgical liposuction of any kind until a few weeks ago (shows how far behind I am), and in researching it I did find it really interesting that there are so many different procedures that are get bundled under the same general term. Thanks for the comment!
