Warm Winter Boots from Sorel for Women, Men, and Children

My mom used to say "cold blows the wind, put on your hat mein kind". And it is true, anywhere the weather turns cold it is necessary to keep not only our heads warm but especially our feet warm too. Now that we are into the fall season with winter not too far around the corner, we've already packed away are our tank tops, shorts, and sandals...and now it is time to start thinking of warmer clothing and boots for a warmer Winter season. Many animals are preparing to hibernate but for us it is time to cover up and keep our bodies warm when we do need to venture outside....Are you ready for those cold days when your feet need to be kept warm and dry?

From young to old the need to keep those feet warm, dry, and comfortable is important. Because there are new amazing materials and construction techniques in the Winter boot industry, we no longer have to sacrifice warmth for flexibility and sweating in heavy old-fashioned boots.

I have discovered a great pair of winter boots for women, the Sorel Water Fall Winter Boot, and also boots for the rest of the family along with warm socks to go with them.

These Boots are made for Winter-a few nice choices.

The Sorel Women's Winter Boot is by far the best I've come across. In addition to having the best features for warm and dry feet, they also satisfy our fashion sense, coming in Black, Flax, or Red.

  • Women's Boots from Sorel. These great boots are mid-height. Made of waterproof suede with a contoured footbed, a sherpa piled collar, and lined midsole, these boots are rated for -40 temperatures. Inside almost 400 grams of Thinsulate keep your feet warm and cozy without adding extra weight. There is a side zipper for easy on and off.

I've listed below just a sample of the Winter boots offered from Amazon.com. It is so much more convenient to pick from what they have online than it is to go to the shoe store.

Winter Boots for Men, Children, and Toddlers too

I've listed below just a sample of Winter boots for your family members, all offered on Amazon.com . It is so much more convenient to pick from what they have online than it is to go to the shoe store.

  • The Flurry: Little Kid/Toddler Winter Boots from Sorel can withstand -25 temps, perfect for afternoons spent outdoors. They have a built-in snow gaitor and an adjustable hook and loop instep strap for a snug fitness against the cold. The inner lining is removable and the boot has an outer rubber shell. With the amount of time kids spend outdoors, it's good to know their feet are warm and dry.
  • Sorel's Pac Boot Little Kid/Toddler Winter Boot has a waterproof uper and lugged outersole to keep those small feet warm and dry. The cuff is a soft for cushion and comfort. It's pull-on style and drawstring closure helps for a quick on an off to keep them having fun for outdoor playing. They are rated for -40F temperatures.
  • Sorel Men's Boots are perfect for those out in extreme weather. Made of waterproof Nubuck and Suede leather. To keep feet warm and dry, the boot is seam sealed. For walking in deep snow, there is a built-in gaitor and it has a bungee drawstring and barrel lock. 400 gram Thinsulate insulation inside keeps the feet warm to -40 temperatures.

Don't forget those Winter socks

Those thin socks for warm weather wear just won't hold up when your feet are out in the cold.  Insulated thermal socks are perfect.  Remember if your feet are cold, you feel cold all over.

Thank you for your comment and I agree, a pair of boots with the Sorrel quality is worth the cost.

cold feet 5 years ago

Hi,

I have bought a pair of Sorel but my feet are freezing as if I was wearing sandals.

I tried wearing wool socks and my toes turned into icicles, I tried thin socks and the same happens.

Any idea about what kind of socks I should use?

thank you!

Hi

I've never had much luck with wool socks but i do like a thermal sock with a boot, they keep the warmth in with your foot.
