Plus Size Indian Clothing: Churidar, Salwar Kameez, Anarkali and Kurtis
As a plus sized woman myself, I know all too well, how difficult it can be to maintain a great look, while still being comfortable in what you wear. Plus size women come in different shapes and sizes and we don't all wear our weight the same way. Finding the right clothing to not only fit correctly, but that still allows you to be the beautiful woman that you are, can be a daunting and frustrating task.
Cbazaar, has fashionable and inexpensive designs for the plus size woman, no matter what your ethnicity. Attire such as churidar suits, salwar kameez, kurtis and anarkali suits can be worn anywhere! At home or at the office. And, while their designs hold true to traditional Indian-inspired materials and styles, they are more than suitable for plus-sized women of all races, colors and creeds and still allow you to look and feel beautiful!
Pictured above, this exceptional-looking churidar suit is worthy to be worn on a night out on the town. A pleasing magenta color, highlighted with gorgeous embellishments on neck, sleeves and yoke really brings the eyes to focus on the outfit and not your curves!
Below, this anarkali suit is perfect for everyday wear. An anarkali suit features a long flowing hemline, reminiscent of a dress. It is usually tapered somewhat around the waist and worn with leggings underneath. This particular one features a decorative backside and, as you can see from this model, looks very appealing on plus-sized women.
Here's another great looking churidar suit in a more neutral color. Many plus-sized women turn away from too much color, as they feel it adds pounds to their look. For women who want a more natural, toned-down look, this churidar suit is the perfect catch. The embroidery on it is simply fascinating and pay special attention to the design on the back!
Kurtis, or tunics, are a great staple for plus-sized women to have. They come down past our waistline, which is where most weight usually settles, especially after childbirth. To minimize your waistline, try wearing kurtis (tunics) with leggings or with pants that are slimming and not flared at the bottom. Kurtis with designs, stones or other embellishments around the collar or sleeves will also detract people from looking at your waistline.
