Tribal tattoos are popular because their one of the most versatile tattooing styles in the world. Nearly all tattoo symbols can be inked in tribal art. Not only that, tribal art is used as a decorative in tattoos as well. The popularity of tribal tattoos may die one day, but for 2014, we see them being in usual high demand.

As we enter 2014, we've seen a steady rise in tribal tattoos for women. Why? Women typically use tribal art as a decorative in their tattoo. Another long-time tattoo favorite tattooing style is Celtic tattoos. Just like tribal tattoos, Celtic tattoos have been popular for a long time. We seen a spike in Celtic tattoos in 2013 and expect them to be more popular in 2014. Celtic tattoos are also very versatile and they can be used in a variety of different ways. Unlike tribal tattoo designs, we know that Celtic tattoo designs are equally worn by men and women. And due to the versatility, Celtic designs and symbols can be designed alone or incorporated with other tattoos.

There's also options when it comes to choosing popular Celtic tattoo symbols. Celtic cross tattoo designs and four leaf clover tattoos are two popular tattoo choices. You also have various Celtic tattooing variations, such as Celtic knotwork tattoos and Celtic Tree of Life tattoos. Men and women find interest in Celtic patterns, as well as tattoo artist. More Popular Tattoos In 2014

In total, there's several more tattoo designs that we expect to gain popularity in 2014. The popularity of clock tattoo designs are on the rise and we expect them to be a player in 2014. What's so special about a clock? The interesting fact that I find about clock tattoos is that they can be bring some of the most amazing visual tattoo designs ever created. The melting clock tattoo is one example of this. Clock designs are versatile and worn by both men and women.

Dreamcatcher tattoos have been in decline, but we feel that they may gain popularity in 2014. Dreamcatcher tattoo designs have a lot of versatility also. They can be a large tattoo, but when decorated, their certainly an eye catcher. You have to love the meaning behind this tattoo also. Feather tattoos are another tattoo gaining in popularity. The peacock feather is one of the most popular feather variations. Eagle feathers, bird feathers, or other types can be used.

We always see new symbols rising to popularity and old school symbols finally falling off the map. It will happen as it always does, so we'll have to see if we see any surprises. New school tattoos continue to gain popularity as a new age becomes popular in tattooing. Visual tattoos are gaining popularity as our technology only gets better. Both will rise to power, but is it the end for old school tattoos? Probably not at this point, but in due time, it just may be.

thelyricwriter..WOW.. your pictures say it ALL..attention to detail/explanation very educational and interesting.

Although this is a beautiful way of self expression, I myself could not do it..My love is the Butterfly because of free spirit , it's original & individual designs and the awesome colors of the Wildflowers in my one acre Weed garden ..

Problem being that is what I would choose as Tattoos...

I could only imagine what they would look like as my body produces wrinkles of age...eek ! sorry.....

Have a great week-end...
