Ruby rings are among the finest Jewelry. Ruby is the rarest gemstone found in nature. It is easy to find a fine quality diamond rather a fine ruby. Burmese ruby is considered the best among all followed by rubies from other origins.

Ruby is a variety of corundum with some natural coloring element like Chromium. It is hardest among all gemstones except diamond. The hardness of ruby is measured nine on Moh's scale. Diamond is ten.

Rubies are cut and polished in various cuts and shapes such as faceted or cut stones, cabochons,beads, carvings etc. Cut stones and cabochons are normally used in making ruby rings.

Ruby is used for making Jewelry since ancient times. Rubies are used in various types of Jewelry such as rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, bangles and earrings.

Rubies are nice and so as the diamonds. Most of these ruby rings are studded with diamonds. In fact, diamonds are generally used with all color stones including rubies.
