Tattoos for Men: Top 10 Tattoo Designs

Tattoos are the most fascinating fashion statement of modern times! But the history of tattoos has its root in the history of human civilization. It is found in history that tattoos and other body arts were very popular among ancient human beings.

For today’s men, tattoos are symbols of expression of various feelings like love, pride, joy, sorrow, winning or losing! Tattoo selection and its proper placement is the most difficult decision men have to make.

Tattoo Placements for Men

Chest: Chest is an area that can be shown off easily by men. You can ink a small tattoo at the upper part of your chest. A nautical star, a bluebird or a Celtic knot or cross would be very attractive! You can print a larger chest piece also which can be shown off during summer. Any large tribal pattern would just be a perfect fit.

Back: If you want to ink a large tattoo, your back is the area you should select. Back is the largest canvas on the human body. A Phoenix printed on the back is an excellent idea! A back-piece done on a grand scale is an expression of aristocracy.

Lower Back: Lower back area for placing tatts is considered sexy! If a dragon is inked on the lower back or even more lower like on your buttock, you partner will love it. Wear a low-waist jeans with a short t-shirt for a macho look!

Arm: Tattoos placed on arms are easily displayable. That's why most men choose arms for placing their tatts. You can choose any design from skull, anchor, cross or pinup girl to ink on your arm. You can easily hide an arm tattoo even by a short-sleeve shirt.

For some men, tattoo placement doesn't really bother them. They have their tatts inked anywhere on their bodies. What they emphasize on is selecting the right design for them!

Nice hub! Great info and well written. My husband and I both have tattoos, although I had a few before we met. Mine are mostly Christian, and he does have one that matches mine - a Chi Rho on our forearms. His other two he designed himself. He has a USMC on his calf with his unit#; on the other calf he has a skull - very popular as you said - which he designed to look like Eddie from Iron Maiden. Run to the Hills....etc. He gets a lot of compliments and his calves are big enough that they look very cool. He wants arms next, so we'll a cop he would have to wear long sleeves so that might not be fun.
