My Favorite Shoe Stores
The motivation for me to write this article came from my own experience with shoe shopping. I wear between a size 5 and 6. Shopping for my size is almost like a nightmare because most, if not all, shoe stores don't carry too many small sizes. All women out there who have small feet like me will know what I'm talking about. More often than not, the salesperson came back and said to me, "I'm sorry but the smallest size we have is 7." Sometimes, I can find size 6 at a few stores, but size 6 is too big for me (I can wear them if I'm buying sneakers or sandals - and it depends on the brand and style so 6 is really a stretch).
Nevertheless, I still love shoes and have found some good brands and places to shop for my size. My favorites include: Aerosoles, DSW, and more recently Endless.com - this is such an amazing website for shoe lovers. They not only carry women shoes but also men's and kids' shoes. For handbag fans, they also carry a good collection of handbags. The best thing I found is that shipping is free both ways, so if the shoes don't fit you or you changed your mind, you can return to them free of charge.
I have always loved the Aerosoles brand. My all time favorite being "Soul Mate." It's a must have sandal for the summer. I would try out their shoes at the store and order them online (because most of the time, they don't have my size). Their online store carry all sizes, and I had no problem finding size 5!!!!! Soul Mate comes in many colors, which include silver, bronze, blue (see above picture - actually, it's more of a lavender to me), and black. I own a pair of silver Soul Mate. I have been wearing them for a few years, and they are still in good condition. They're perfect for a rainy day and they don't get damaged from the rain, and your toes dry up faster. I like the previous season's silver more than the current one in the same color. I liked them in gold from prior seasons as well. Now, I somewhat regret from not buying a pair back then. The current season's bronze is a bit dark for me. Maybe someone else will find them appealing. Regardless of the color, these sandals are so comfortable and will not break into your skin. Do you walk often? You can walk in these sandals for hours without feeling any pain. They are the best walking shoes for the summer!
DSW is another of my favorite stores. Since I live relatively close to their physical store, I like to browse their store. Normally, I cannot find sandals in my size; but it's a great place to shop for sneakers. If I need to order my shoes online that's not a big problem since I can return them to the store. That's certainly a huge plus.
