Juvederm for non surgical nose job and mouth lines
Info and Introduction
If your looking for a quick 'fix', I'd say USE JUVEDERM! It lasts a long time and it's a wonderful filler. It is safe to use with no long lasting side effects. In rare cases some people can have a reaction so do your research before deciding if it's right for you or not. Is it right for me? YES! I have never had a bad experience going in to see the doctor and getting the injections.
How much does it cost? - Juvederm is not that expensive where I live but of course the prices are going to be different everywhere. Here in Canada my doctor charges $450 for a full syringe, which will cover your mouth lines. Any touch-ups are $250 and does the job great.
Side Effects - The only bad side effects I've ever had are some swelling, some red dots where the needles went in, and some bruising. But I can't really consider those "bad" side effects because they don't last long and are not painful. There was one time I had a touch-up and got a pretty bad bruise afterwards. So I covered it with makeup until it went away and these problems always go away. In my opinion they are worth it for completely eliminating lines and wrinkles!
How long does it last? - I went 8 months until I got a touch-up at one point, which is great because the lines were still not back, I was just able to start seeing them a bit more at that time. If you keep up with touch ups it really does last a nice long time. I am told it lasts a year or so, which I believe to be true because at that 8 month mark the lines were still not back like I said, I was just able to start seeing them and it wasn't that bad. I could have gone longer but I don't want to see them at all. Be gone lines and wrinkles!!
The two pictures above are the before and after of the first time I tried Juvederm. Before is on the left. You can see an instant transformation although there are red bumps where the needle went in and some swelling (which really doesn't last too long!)
This would be the second time I got Juvederm. I've been getting touch-ups every 6 months or so since the first injections. You can see above that the lines around my mouth have completely vanished! The procedure is not very painful, the injections my doctor use happen to have numbing medicines in them so after the first needle or two your numbing up and the rest of the very quick procedure is pain free.
Mouth Lines before and after
The upper line of photos are the before shots, the lower line is after. At the time these pictures were taken I was still a bit swollen. My mouth lines are completely smooth now.
Non surgical nose job
Being so elated with my new fresh young face, I asked the doctor at one of the appointments about the non surgical nose job. I had watched some videos on youtube and I've ALWAYS wanted a nice straight nose. (If you see my other hubs you'll notice I have recently had surgery to take care of that problem in a better way lol). Anyway I was able to inject some Juvederm into a few places in my nose and WOW!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Non surgical nose job
To the left of the red line are the before pix. You can see how my nose is straighter and doesn't appear crooked anymore.
