Hi Andy...the Christmas thigh tattoo was unbelievable, while spider one scared me silly. How do they do that 3-D effect? All your tattoo hubs have been awesome and this one is no exception. Voted up and shared.

Thanks Donna for stopping by and leaving an inspiring comment. The 3D effects in tattoos are relatively new but done amazingly by some tattooists! The only thing you've to do is to find out an awesome tattooist in an equally awesome studio! - Andy

Andy, Great tattoos and great hub. I couldn't have that spider on my neck like that, it looks real!!! The ones where the swords go into the ankles in the back, wow. I don't think I could do something like that. I really liked the thigh tattoo with the flowers. Beautiful colors and design. Good job as usual, my friend. :)

I've seen a lot of 'kitsch', like we German call low-quality/standard stuff. But watching guys like Miami Ink and seeing what great pieces of art they can produce...

If you do something that will affect you for a lifetime, make it a piece of art that will make you look better, not worse!

@ Cat R: I agree with you. The definition of quality greatly varies in different cultures and traditions and it also changes with time, right? Thank you so much for stopping by!

The funny thing is that a lot of people look down on somebody with tattoes. They associate it with crime and such. I'm personally not a fan of 'too much' either, but that is personal preference.

But, as I learned in Animal Rescue, there seem to be more caring people with those that favor tattoes (bikers, trucker, etc) than those that wear the expensive suits!

Look at Rescue Ink! The amount of care they put into any and every one of their project is amazing!

I haven't seen a 'Rescue Wallstreet' yet!

But things are changing fast. You'll see a lot of people today who wear expensive suits also ink expensive tattoos beneath the suits! And that's the irony.

So far as "Rescue Wall Street" is concerned, all I can say is Government will rescue them in all problems by printing money. That's why I advise people to 'print' tattoos to protest both party's (Govt. & Wall St.) activities!

Thank you so much Cat R for your insightful comment! - Andy
