This is definitely one of my fave tat series from you, Ricky. Although I've studied the Tree of Life some you even had some new info for me. These are beautiful tats that say so much that is good. Personally think the peace sign is upside down into the ground and thus negative. Turned around it becomes the Tof L. So perhaps enough of these tats can offset the other some so to speak. Just a personal feeling shared by others of course. Great one my friend.

@Btrbell, thanks for the visit and votes!

@Alastar, glad you liked it Alastar. That's a good point, all tattoo artist have an opinion, as well as the wearer. So many symbolic meanings are passed alone and often it can be misrepresented. If I'm going to get inked, I'm researching to know everything about it. You may not know what the reverse peace sign means, ect. Your spot on, that's something you have to consider.

@Frank, great to hear from you pal. Thank you for the comment and visit Frank!

@Sueswan, thanks for taking the time to visit Sueswan. Great choice. I love tree tattoos, so much symbolic value as a powerful symbol of life. Thanks!

@Ruby, I can understand. Tree tattoo designs are rather large and often take up a large space. Tree tattoos can be designed small, but you miss out on the incredible detail. Appreciate the visit.

@Faith, thank you so much. Tree tattoo meanings are very symbolic and meaningful. That's what makes the Tree of Life tattoo special, at least for me. Appreciate everything Faith:)

Midget, thanks for taking the time to drop by and view my article on the Tree of Life tattoo. I agree, I know some tattoo symbols can be dark, but the Tree of Life is not. I love all the associations that different cultures had with the Tree of Life, Tree of Knowledge, and Sacred Tree. All around the world, we see art portraying the Tree of Life. Did we have the technology to travel across vast oceans? How did knowledge of the Tree of Life spread? The sun and Tree of Life were both positive symbols.

Teaches, appreciate your time. Yeah, these Tree of Life tattoo designs were a good bunch. I always try to portray the best quality tattoos, but I often run out very quickly. Glad I was able to get some good ones on there. I personally love the Tree of Life tattoo, the design, but the symbolic meaning the most. Teaches, thanks again!

I was giving a life tree by a friend and he wanted to come back in his next life as that tree. Four days later he got in wreck n died. He believed this tree captures souls. He also loved stars. I'm a hard time coping with his passing. Was looking for some sort of life tree with a star worked in it somehow. Never had tattoo before. Any suggestions r help would be greatly appreciated

Aommag123, thanks for sharing. Wow, very interesting. The Tree of Life is certainly the right symbol for you. There's a lot of different designs though, a bunch of different cultures had strong beliefs in the Tree of Life. Perhaps the Chinese Tree of Life would be in order. Remember, this one is in relation with the Phoenix, rising from the ashes, rebirth. That would seem fitting for you. The Chinese Zodiac may even correspond to that with the "stars." It features the dragon also. Just ideas relating to what you want. Stars come in a number of different designs also. The North Star in your case, for guidance, for those who have lost their way.
