If you have never heard of Vibram FiveFingers KSO Footwear (or as I like to call them, toe shoes) don't worry, you are not alone. While I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I actually like these shoes…allow me to introduce you to the company that sells them. The Vibram Company was founded by Vitale Bramani in 1935. Mr. Bramani invented the first rubber soles for mountaineering boots and has been the undisputed leader in soling technology ever since. For over seventy years, Vibram has been making high quality soles and today, manufactures more than thirty-four million soles annually for more than 1000 premium footwear brands around the globe. Now that's impressive!

Remember going barefoot as a child? Many young children do not like to wear shoes. In fact, when my nieces and nephews visit me, they take their shoes off the second they walk in the door. There's just something nice about freeing your feet from shoes and feeling the grass beneath your toes. Personally, I don't mind shoes that go between my toes, however, I can't get past the price and the fact that they look like a pair of rainbow colored toe socks I owned as a teenager! Maybe one day, I will splurge and purchase a pair of FiveFingers Shoes. After all, I'm not against investing in a GOOD pair of shoes...especially if they improve my posture!
