Survey Ques? - What are the opinions on lotions and anti-aging creams instead of plastic surgery?

Is expensive surgery worth resorting to before trying other options? What products have people used that show quick results and remove or reduce fine lines or cellulite and show a visibly fit difference?

Plastic surgery is just that...surgery. Things can go wrong, accidents happen. It is always a risk. I am no expert on beauty creams or regimens, but, vitamin E is always favored, and comes in many different products. Collagen and Aloe Vera are also good. New products are marketed all the time.

Eat right, exercise, use healthy skin care products, and stay away from the knife!  There are too many horror stories, you never know if you might be the next one.

Natural ways to help combat wrinkles are using egg whites on your face and the under eye area. Olive oil or odour free caster oil can also be used on the neck and under eye area. you can also try emptying the contents of 3 Vitamin E capsules into a small bowl. Add to this 2 tsps plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Apply this mixture on the face using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse. Another way is to gently massage coconut oil on portions of skin prone to wrinkles every night before bedtime. Virgin coconut oil mixed with a few drops of Vitamin E oil is one of the best deep wrinkle creams and often produces visible results within a week of using them. Failing all this you still don't need to go through surgery, you could go for anti age facials at your local salon or you could even try Botox.

I agree with Dr. Wendy! She's right. I'm 45 and I have never had cosmetic surgery. I don't think it's necessary.

I believe that It's much better to age gracefully. Be happy with what you have and take care of what you have. Fight wrinkles by eating right, drinking plenty of water, exercise, rest and don't smoke. I wrote a hub about how to have great skin after 40.
