water in the swimming pool contains a lots of chlorine for the cleaning purpose, which might have darken the color of your body. To regain it, you need to save yourself from direct sun exposure and use some home made body cleaners, like milk cream with gram floor and turmeric before going to bath instead of using fairness creams which contains a lot of chemicals.

This too had happened to me as a child.  I stayed out of the sun as much as possible and has led a healthy lifestyle. Fortunately, I retained most of my original complexion. Tan comes and go away. Tan is temporary. Be patient.  Remember that Prevention is Better than Cure.  Use a good-quality sunscreen.  Try to minimise your time under the sunlight to an extent.  Continue going to the gym - it increase blood circulation and helps in regaining skin complexion over a period of time.  Eat healthy.   Use ice-cubes and high-quality aloe vera gel for applying on skin which delay tan. Also you can use any one of these effective gradual  tan-removal home-made scrubs and facials-1) sandalwood paste mixed with rose water; 2) besan scrub- Bengal gram flour mixed with milk and a pinch of turmeric; 3) a minimal mixture of lemon juice and honey(it depends on how skin agrees with this remedy) and 4)almonds-scrub - consisting of a few almonds-paste mixed with milk-cream.  Adopting one or two of these scrubs and facials once-twice every week prove beneficial in tackling skin-tan.

The bottom line is to use sunscreen EVERY day without fail. Try using a BB cream. These can give you an immediate boost in brightness to your skin while also lightening up your skin tone over the period of a couple of months.
