Why is a woman who wears provocative clothes considered to have no..
self worth or self respect?
A woman who shows off too many assets at the same time is giving the impression to others that she has nothing of substance to offer other than her body. If a woman needs to dress for sex appeal, the show off legs, a little cleavage, some curves, OR a slim midriff,- but only one at a time.
Yeah, why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.....
i have no idea. what a person wears is not a sign of low self esteem in my eyes but rather it is a way of saying i look good and i know it. i'm glad women dress how they want, it shows they are making their own choice plus what's wrong with making people like what they are seeing.
As long as the woman doesn't act insulted if someone looks. Then, what's the point?
We live in a society where brains are considered more worthy than looks but if you've got it flaunt it I say. If you had a fancy car you wouldn't hide it in the garage you would be driving it around showing it off. Why hide a beautiful body. It doesn't mean you have a lack of morals which many people seem to assume.
That is just not entirely true. When a woman is really hot and knows it, she wants to show it off. I wish that every woman who's got an amazing bod would show it off. There are only so many days in ones life during which the body looks young and attractive. Don't hide it from the world.
As for self respect- provocative women are generally seen as "sex objects" to men. Other women get furiously jealous when a hot sexpot is stealing all of the male (and female) attention that she could be getting. Women who say that are just jealous. Sexual attraction is the spice of life for many-(who can get it!) and the reason why those who can't get any hate the ones who can. Sex matters.
Lets not forget the virtue of modesty.
Hi Peeples,
Society can be very judgmental...in my personal opinion.
I also believe there is a very thin line with the way women dress.
Here is what I mean:
I have seen many, many gorgeous women during my life time wearing provocative clothes...I see it on television all the time...even on the red carpet.
I even see it at Barnes & Noble, my favorite hangout! In stores. Everywhere.
Especially in hot, humid weather.
It's a free country, and people can dress as they please.
However, I see a trend of young girls...even as young as age six or seven dressing skimpy.
My MAIN concern about this are predators...This type of dressing has the potential to attract sex offenders and rapists, even killers.
Maybe I watch too many police shows, but I know I would not want my daughter on the streets dressed in provocative clothes...especially at night...even out with girl friends on the street.
I would not want any female to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
That being said, how women dress is none of my business. We all have a right to choose what we wear each day.
Blessings, Sparklea
I totally agree children should not be dressing provocatively at all its up to their parents to protect them from the adult world.

Why do women dress up in skimpy / revealing clothes?Women seem to enjoy dressing up in clothes that reveal significant amounts of their bodies, leaving very little to imagination. Why is this? could there be a scientific reason for it? Doesn't it promote the whole idea of being objectified?

Are plus-size women, dress sizes 16 thru 20, just as attractive as thin women? Why or why not?The fashion world is becoming more accepting of women who are plus-sized. How do you view women who are not thin? Do you think curves are in or, not so much? If you are a man, would you date a plus-size...
