Ladies, do you prefer lip gloss, lip balm or lipstick. Also which brand do you wear most often.

Honestly, chap stick. I love my lips natural color. But sometimes I need to make sure they stay in one piece in the south's harsh summer heat.

I like to use lipgloss in a natural color. I've never been big on lipstick. As far as brand, I use Arbonne's products because they don't use any animal products or by-products. The thought of licking, swallowing, putting on my skin or hair, or ingesting yucky animal stuff grosses me out. Arbonne's products are vegan-certified, so I trust them!

At my age (57 going on 27), make up needs to be subtle, so lip  gloss every time for me, and I've found Rimmel to be more than satisfactory. I like to use a clear one so that I can use my blusher colour on my lips, then enhance it with the lip gloss - colour co-ordinated for not very much outlay! Also, because of my mature skin, I find lipstick too much as it enhances my (god forbid) wrinkles- oh my the joys of encroaching old age. Lip gloss is good and in my head, it subtracts the years - then again, that may be just my failing eye sight. Maybe though it's simply  a kindness from God so that I look better in the mirror............

I don't wear makeup, but I do use lip balm. I prefer Alba brand, they call it Un-petroleum, it is free of harmful chemicals and has an SPF rating of 18. I like the cherry scented the best. I also have some cocoa butter lip balm, but that stuff is hard to find!

I have been concerned about all the chemicals lately as well.  All of my lip balm is organic or Berts Bees.  The lipstick -- I would like to find some good organic lipstick with appealing colors.

I use all three, depending on where I am going for the day. If I do not need extra color, I use lip balm to moisturize. When I go out, after applying my foundation (yes, even on the lips), I apply lipstick and finish off with lip gloss. It lasts longer over foundation. I don't like the feel of dry lips, so I find I reapply lip gloss or lip balm throughout the day as needed.

Here lately, I've been using lip balm. I like Carmex. Their cherry flavor is good.

I usually wear chapstick, the blue tube. It has spf in it, smells good and doesn't taste bad.

I also wear lipgloss when I have reason to, late I haven't though. I love Lancome's Hotness and VS' lipglosses.

i prefer wearing lipstick especially in this weather, lip gloss looks a bit shiny and glossy in summers and overall face looks enhanced. so L'Oreal is my favorite brand

I prefer lip balm, since it is beneficial for the lips and doesn't taste bad. I'm not a big fan of wearing lip stick- aside from the taste, I hate when it gets on silverware and glasses when eating or drinking. So annoying!

I probably should use more lip balm, but I prefer to use lipstick.  Have lots of different shades and love the colors!

For special occasions I wear a lip gloss on top of lipstick. For everyday use I wear lip balm. I use tinted lip gloss from C.O. Bigelow, lipstick from Sephora, and my lip balm is from Burt's Bees.

I use lip balm before going to bed every night and also when I'm outside in the elements, like walking on the nature trail.

At work I use lipstick every day because it moisturizes and gives me some color on my face.  I apply it at least twice a day.  The brand I have been using for years is Mary Kay Cosmetics, but lately I have been using Maybellene and Loreal because I like their colors.
