   What current fashion trends do you think people will look back on 20 years from now and cringe?
   
   I grew up with the huge mall hair and when I see my high school pictures I can't believe we thought foot high bangs that looked like they were rolled up in dynamite was "hip" lol.  What fashions of today do you think people will look back on and cringe? 
   
   I predict the nasty, scraggly beards and the skinny jeans.

   I work at Wal*Mart and I see a lot of "fashion" trends that make me cringe even now.  On top of the list are those pajama pants so many people seem to be wearing.  I'm waiting to see people come in wearing slippers and bathrobes (or night gowns).

      lol that is one of my pet peeves too, going out in pajamas - screams "I'm lazy and don't care".  They probably will eventually go out in bathrobes. I have seen slippers!

   Hopefully it won't take that long for the trend to end, but I'm hoping the very large pants hanging below people's butts is one thing that will make everyone cringe not just as older people.

   I am thinking those mountain high heels all shoe stores seem to have nowadays.  The inventory of every shoe store I have visited in the last year seems to be about 90% of these 6+ inch heels.  They far outnumber the normal 1 inch pumps I so love to wear. 
   
   I tried on a pair for the heck of it one time and only put one of those 6+ inch heels on one foot and then I had to grab on to a chair to balance myself or else I would have lost my balance and fallen.  I didn't bother to put on the second shoe.  I don't know how anyone can walk in those, but I guess younger ankles can take the shock more than my ankles do.

      I never could walk in those super high heels, an inch or two is fine, but yeah, I don't get those super high heels either.

   I foresee the layered sock colorue cord...being a bloop that would make the guilty CRINGE...unlike butter-fly collars and allstars...SOCKS just aren't that striking. We tried in the mid 90's, when air Jordan first to flight. I must confess;
   
   
   In my life I have had few sneakers, tennis shoes, cross trainers, hiking/walking shoes. My Favorited pairs have been Nike Air Max & Nike Air Jordan.

      hmm I wasn't aware of a current sock trend so I guess maybe it isn't very striking I remember layering socks late 80's or early 90's with white Keds sneakers all the rage

   I do hope that it's the pants that a lot of the younger girls are wearing now that show their be-hind when they bend over! Good grief! I sure wish they'd wear pants that covered their rears, I so get tired of being mooned everywhere I go! LOL

      ah yes, the super ultra mega lowrise pants or whatever they are lol.  I hated that trend too when they wore thong underpants with them on purpose.  gag.

   Rather than pants tied over navel, the trend has changed to tie under the navel, lol.
   When I ask my father not to tie your pant over your navel please, he doesn't care and reply me back I can't compromise with my era's fashion trend child.
