Have you ever left home with mismatched shoes?
Did you discover the mistake or did someone have to tell you? What were the circumstances. I left the house this morning with two different tennis shoes on. It was dark when I left and I only went to the park, but I felt silly when it got light enough to see the difference.
Yes, I had two pairs of the same shoes, but one pair in black and the other pair in navy blue. It was fall and still dark in the mornings, and I went into my closet and did not turn on the light but saw the pair of shoes I wanted, I thought, and just slipped them on and off to work I went! LOL I did not realize I did this until I looked down after I arrived at work while I was sitting at my desk. I was so humiliated and just kept my feet under my desk the entire day.
haha I did this exact same thing - only in my job I didn't have the luxury of a desk to hide my feet behind but yes, Navy and Black are too close in color on dark mornings for sure.
Faith and Christin I did the same navy blue and black shoe trick. Felt dumb all day!
i once went to work with a set of grey loafers, one each from two different pairs. i couldn't hide because my job involved moving from room to room. i couldn't go home and change as that was over a half hour away. everyone was too polite to mention it.
Really? Hasn't everyone? I have no such excuses like same shoe different colors. That old head of mine remains up there in the clouds sometimes so far I cannot even see down to my feet. Thank God for firmly tethered spouses and children. And happily I will not drive in that state, so I do a double check of everything before I operate. Can't count the times I realized my mismatching right before I got in the car.
I have done it more than once, I was traveling and we were at a swank mall when I realized I had different tennis shoes. I quickly bought a pair of flip flops. Thankfully I realized it before I attended the game my son was coaching.
Hahaha That is so funny to see a man admit to doing it too. Thanks, Eric.
Yes! I like to drive to work with slippers on and pack the shoes I'm going to wear at the office into a bag that I toss into the seat of the passenger side. The plan is to exchange the slippers for the shoes when I get to work. Once, I placed mismatched shoes in the bag (one black and one navy blue pump). The only fortunate thing about the situation is that one was a right shoe and the other was a left shoe. I'm glad I didn't have to meet clients that day.
LOL,That happened to my husband carpooler one day. She got to our house wearing one black shoe and one white shoe. She was horrified and turned around and went home.Same shoes it was dark when she put them on. Hubby had to drive alone that day.
I can say that I truly empathize with your husband's carpooler, Judy Specht. But when I think about it I wonder how in the world were we able to find a right and left shoe without noticing they were shoes of different colors? Oh well, life goes on.

There are people with smaller and larger than normal feet sizes and I wonder how you manage with purchasing shoes.

Why do women need 10 pairs of shoes when they have only 2 feet?Always amazes me why women need so many pairs of shoes when men are happy with one or two.

Do you think these shoes would be comfortable to walk around town in?
