When I was a kid I became interested in facial hair. I think it started when I saw Tom Selleck on Magnum PI. I thought,I want to have a mustache like his. So, by the time I was 18 I started growing out my facial hair. Then, in the 90's, a lot of guys started growing the Goat tee. So I did that.
I don't know what made me want to switch to a beard, but,most people I meet seem to think I look good with a beard,so I kept it.Though,I never feel like I am trimming it right, and if it gets too big it starts looking like a red gnarly bush.
I have friends that have great beards.It seems to be a brunette thing. I am also envious of their hair. I wish I could get the hair on my face to migrate to my bald spot.
