I am a natural born red-head and believe it is the reason for my unique personality.  I stick out in everything I do (in a good way); red hair, blue eyes and freckles...now thats some good stuff!

Is this a loaded question? I won't answer til I know.

    Maybe....maybe not??
But I'm a redhead so hence the question.

There is a stigma attached. Like we're crazy tempered.
    Or bitchy.
I think that accounts for most people and their own personality.

I did read an article that redheaded people man or woman need more anesthesia for surgery because we don't go under easy and wake up in the middle of procedures!
Umm. you ever read any of my hubs?
    I hope I didn't wake up, maybe that's why I don't sleep much.

I too was a redhead, mostly my beard. It does take more anesthesia for me as well as novacane. I haven't read your hubs, but will check them out. Nice to meet you. Redheads are crazy, that's why I love them so. smile

    Redheads are beautiful!

I used to be a redhead...then I let a hairdresser talk me into experimenting.  Now I don't know what color my hair is.

I have never been attracted to males with red hair, don't know why, just never have.

I hear ya there. Being a redhead back in the eighties was not
cool. I tried everything including that sun-in stuff. Really messed my hair up.
I have worked hard to get my hair back to normal.
I hate to say it but shaving my hair for my surgery,(they only shaved the back) made my hair grow back so silky and nice.
I grew it all out and have not put anything in my hair since.
It's now almost to my lower back.

I dont know abut women but I am only attracted to men with STRAWBERRY - BLOND or LONG RED HAIR smile
(My natural hair is a very dark Auburn..I keep it a custom color, I mix dark blond with cocoa brown, let it saturate all my hair - I have very long hair. Once it is rinsed washed once and dry, I wait overnight and in the morning add permanent Magenta highlights to it..I wont tell you my secret of how it works or how the magenta stays permanent..but everyone seems to love it smile

I love redheads. And yes, there is the perception of "fiery" and fierce tempered, and quite frankly I have met few redheads that didn't fit that persona. It probably comes from the thought that redheads are typically associated with the Irish, and that's a group with a reputation for having a temper. But that's part of the turn on. And the rarity has perpetuated many myths. True redheads are hard to find, I've been looking for years!
