Kim Kardashian Smokey Eye Makeup Step by Step Tutorial

This is what Kim calls the "Camel Smokey Eye"

Kim likes to use mostly MAC Cosmetics for her Camel Smokey Eye Look.

Step #1 use the color Bare Canvas from MAC Paint. This shadow is in a tube and is available on Ebay . Apply it to your lid with a MAC 217 brush so that the shadow doesn't crease (Do not bring it all the way up to the brow bone, just the lid up to the crease).

Step #2 go ahead and apply your darkest color first in the corner and crease. make sure that you blend it in well. Do not apply the dark color all over the lid for this look. Keep blending the dark shadow in the crease with your brush ( A really good tip is to apply a loose powder under your eye first, so that the flecks of the dark shadow wont drop on your skin, and you can just brush it off easily after you apply the dark color).

Step #3 use your black eyeliner. Kim and her makeup artist Stephen like Stila black eyeliner. Apply the eyeliner on the inside rim of the eyes. Next apply the liner on the bottom under the lash. You can smudge the line to get a smokey look with a Q-tip.

Step #4 apply MAC Naked loose powder eye shadow to the inner corner of the eye and then blend out onto the lid a little.

Step #5 now go back to the eyeliner and use MAC Carbon on an angle brush and use this shadow as an eyeliner for the top line. Start on the outside corner and concentrate the liner in the corner, and then press into the lash line.

Step #6 fill in the brows if needed. Kim likes to do this because it makes your eyes stand out and it frames your eyes. Kim and Stephen like to use an angle brush to apply the brow shadow. They use MAC Espresso. You can use whatever dark brown shadow you have but they like Espresso.

Step #7 is the lashes, You can get this look with or without false eyelashes. If you have long black curly eyelashes like Kim, you can just use mascara but Kim and Stephen use false eyelashes and they use Duo lash adhesive. Apply the eyelashes first then apply your mascara. Kim loves Lancome Hypnose.
